They're gorgeous aren't they?? I have all 3, I bought No 1 myself (my fave) and then had Nos 2 and 3 bought as birthday gifts - really lovely, and they burn for ages.

Happy birthday to Becky Kaz, may she have the best of days :D :D :D Enjoy your meal out tonight xx

Di I have a whirligig of towels drying in the breeze too - they should be ready to come in now 8-)

I woke up to Charlie lying on the bed - quite a nice surprise as he doesn't come upstairs much unless he's meowing for food :D I had no firm plans in my head for my day, so had a leisurely breakfast, watched some telly and then after my shower I decided to get cracking on the conservatory. I usually only sweep/wash the floor and flick my feather duster around so it needed a deeper clean - it was a LONG job!! But no dust bunnies in there anymore  Got late so I continued to clean the rest of the house as well....and shove some washing on, it's now blowing well as it is sunny and very windy today. No coffee out today, never mind.

Have a good Friday all xx

Towels got in before we popped out shopping - urgently needed cake, amongst other so-called essentials.
Chocolate eclair just gone down nicely :)

Am I the only person who can't stand scented candles? :D

Not too keen on scented candles either. I find them often a bit too over-powering .... I'll just settle for Ally's coffee and bacon butties

Walked up the town this morning with Mrs O for a Costa coffee and emmental and mushroom toastie, then to the local butchers for lamb steaks and the Friday food and craft market for sausages and a small pot of strawberry jam.

Raced home and got the washing in as it was starting to spit with rain; thankfully that's all there was ...

Enjoy the rest of your day, folks! :D

No you are not, I really dislike them, the smell gives me a headache and I have to rush through the candle section (and perfume section) of shops.

Afternoon all, busy again today. Needless to say we were up early this morning and Kellie was a grumpy whingey girl - just as well I love her to bits  We dropped them off at the childminder at 10am. Later on I went to the gym and then went for lunch afterwards with one of the Silver Sneaker ladies. This afternoon I've been to collect my new glasses and am going to have a quick nap before going out this evening.

Cromwell, I was sorry to see you lost your much loved pet, they really take hold of our hearts, don't they :(

Oooh I must get myself up to Aldi then! Although I do have a fair few Yankee Candles that B got from Hallmark :)

Thanks everyone for B's birthday wishes, we had her birthday cake this afternoon, rather than taking it to the restaurant, as D declared it not good enough for public scrutiny, due the icing slipped a bit  Not that you'd notice, it looked great to me :D

Really glad you are enjoying the crafting so much Di, it does sound fun 8-)

Afternoon Osc :D

Waves to Ossie :D

Gal you're a busy bee! 8-) :)

Our table is booked for 6.30, I just put a few sponge rollers in B's hair while we catch up on this week's Holby City

This is the cake, I think it's great!

Good evening all, it's been a warm and sunny day here!

Shame we spent a few hours of it at the hospital waiting with Joe for a scan  All done now though and as he couldn't eat for a few hours beforehand we then went on to Costa for coffee and cake (or a scone with jam and cream and mint tea for me).

Happy Birthday to Becky! The cake looks lovely! Hope you all have a lovely evening!
