Good morning all.
We paid a visit to our old hometown this morning, and got caught in a terrific thunder storm.
But we managed to avoid most of it and did I bit of shopping. The sun is shining here, back
home, now.
Hope you all have a pleasant weekend.
There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met.

Lissie,
I had operations on both eyes last year to remove cataracts. Like Osc's mother, I am over 80 and no longer need glasses for reading or distance.
Not had any problems and I go to the optician every year and also see the consultant to make sure everything is normal.
I know some people have problems but it is over 90% success rate.
Although you cannot see or feel what is being done, you can feel the eye surgeon changing his position as he is carrying out the operation.
