Hot.

Going for a swim shortly, will have a coffee then get ready for work.

Finish at 1pm then meeting Don & the twins who are taking me out for lunch. I just have to decide where I want them to take me.

Lunch will no doubt creep into tea time when I think it'll be time for cocktails.

Depending on how the day goes will determine whether I watch Masterchef tonight or record it!

It looks cloudy here, the forecast is for showers. No special plans other than zumba tonight, and I must get up to D's at some point today to water the garden etc. She's back tomorrow

Supposed to be sunny today - it's wall to wall cloud

Getting ready for visitors this morning, a second cousin and her daughter
They're staying at a fairly near activity centre for a few days - Alice is 13 - we were going to take them out for lunch but they managed to get a zipwire session booked so coffee it is.
This cousin is a daughter of the twin who's having treatment for a brain tumour so I shall find out properly how she is.

Morning all, it's sunny here although it did go cloudy for a time.

I took Billy for a very early walk, it was lovely without anyone else around. I could see over into Shropshire and there was some low-lying mist in that direction, the top of the Wrekin was breaking through the top of it. I've been shopping since. I got the bus back and Stevie Green Bus was driving it. That was the name we gave to a lad back in the early to mid 80s who was a conductor on the Green Bus service which ran around here. I've only seen him twice since then (last time being about 5 years ago) and he still remembers me, I walked onto the bus to "Jo! How are you?"

I'm waiting to hear from John as to whether he's off to Ireland tomorrow. He was in Sunderland yesterday. Poor thing, his department is falling to bits at their busiest time of the year due to ill health and family bereavements and he's being run ragged covering other people's jobs.

Morning all its afternoon really what a morning booked a taxi for 12 because of traffic it never came till 10past but got to see ok sigh saw the nurse I'd lost 12lb after having to Nick the scales from drs room then I said I can't hear so she calls dr in got a infection so he gave me a prescription that will wipe me out antibiotics always do
Have to go back and see nurse next week
Then went next door to chemist was told not to take to lots of my tablet because they cause problems with antibiotics sigh then got my once a year mobile out to ring for taxi home didn't have my glasses with me had to ask a reception ist to ring for me back home with a cuppa lovely day here
