Lovely and cool at the moment, hotting up again later.

Grumpy out painting and then vaccuming the pool, I'm going to be weeding, until just before 10, then we down tools for hot eggs rolls and watch James Martin.

No idea what we'll be doing then, but curry, by request, for dinner.

Have a great week-end Ally :Hi:

Morning all :D

Ally have a great time with your friends :) 8-)

Egg rolls sound like a plan Jan, can I have one? Starving this morning...... ;)

We had a good time at salsa, in the end just M and I went as Emma had a migraine, but our zumba teacher Jane goes there so we had people to sit with and talk to :) The beginners class is upstairs in Copa, a very smart bar cum nightclub in a Regency building right in the middle of Cheltenham. After the hour long class we get to go downstairs to the main dance area, and join in with the more experienced dancers......wow, some of them can really move! Unlike us....... :P

A quiet weekend planned, I'm picking up my new specs this morning, then down to the Quays for our usual panini lunch :) It's the last weekend of the artificial beach down there, I will quite miss watching the kids making sandcastles, and the various bands playing, or the Punch and Judy shows ........ :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Holidays, curry and pannini! You lot know how to live.

Today buying a new stepladder is about as rock n roll as it gets round here! Then try and clean the inside of the car, I've seen cleaner dustbins.

Have a good day one and all.

Morning :)
And a lovely one it is too! :D - make the most of it, rain tomorrow.

Have a lovely holiday Ally :)
Glad you're enjoying the salsa Kaz :)

Well Bb's working as usual, I have to walk up to the village for a prescription that wasn't there yesterday, and there's cricket to watch.
Other than that, no idea. I would go out but it's more or less gridlocked round here, what with the air show one way and the huge auto thing at Beaulieu the other, and the market in town! :D

Hope you all have a good day

Morning all :D

Have a great holibobs Ally.

Lovely and sunny at the moment, fingers crossed it lasts as Z&M plus boys are on their way and should be here about 12ish. The boys will want to walk down to the harbour but it will have to be the bus for me, I'm completely walked out for the next few days. We're hoping to try the new big 'Spoons', if it's not too busy and we can get in that is. It's caused huge excitement here, the Royal Pavilion has been derelict for years and a real eyesore on the seafront. Wetherspoons have done a fantastic job restoring it and it opened on Tuesday. So far nothing but praise, we'll see https://www.jdwetherspoon.com/pubs/all-pubs/england/kent/the-royal-victoria-pavilion-ramsgate

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all, it's a beauty here!

John and I walked Billy earlier, we're now just sitting around chatting, eating Hob Nobs and drinking coffee with the lads :D We'll pop around to see my parents after lunch and then see what the rest of the day brings. There's a Man Utd legends charity game on TV this afternoon so me and Joe might catch some of that. Neither of us were really bothered about going to it though.

Jen, the pub looks lovely. Wetherspoons do a good job of restoring these old buildings don't they? This is the one which we go to quite often. It was a run down building used as offices after being a really dodgy pub in my teens ("don't ever let me hear you've been in the Anglesey!" was something I frequently heard as I walked out of the door). It's beautiful inside now and there are photos of my Dad's uncle on the wall as a lot of the decor commemorates the local horse racing community and he was a jockey who rode the winner in the Grand National.

Afternoon :D We were up and out quite early, as Michael was playing football locally and Miss Osc was going for a girlie night away with some pals, so she asked if we could mind Kellie while the match was on. It was a really lovely early autumn morning, and after the football we went for a stroll around the harbour. Had a lovely time with our friends A and N yesterday, A and I had a great walk on the cliffs while the men played golf and then we had a very nice meal at a local restaurant. There have been resurfacing works ongoing on our street overnight this week and last night was the noisiest. The machinery we could deal with as it had to be done, but what did not have to be done was the two workers clearing up outside our house at 4am, conducting a conversation in Polish at the tops of their voices

Ireland is playing Georgia at 5pm, so we'll watch that, and Mr Osc is already watching golf from America.
