We've had another nice lie in, not going anywhere today, will make do with something from the freezer for dinner, I'm in recovery mode

Been busy here, Grumpy has rendered one wall on his new workshop and I've cleared almost 4 fence panels worth of weeds, down the drive. I killed them off with a salt and vinegar solution, so now they can be got rid off. We're hoping that we can gravel all the drive, makes it look so much better.

I haven't worn a watch for almost 11 years

Another start to the day with a noticeable difference in the micro-climate - reasonably pleasant here in the Vale, but up the hill, it was dank and humid in Shaftesbury with both Dorset and Union Jack flags lying limply on the flagpoles atop the Town Hall. A bit of shopping, and then a quiet "rest of the day" today, after a hectic weekend.

Hi. We are having a new bathroom so there have been three trips to the tip today, more to come tomorrow. MrsC has been dog sitting as our daughter and son-in-law are on holiday (we share it with his parents), and taking her dad aka Cheerful Charlie Chester, to his rellies. So a busy day. Glad you went on OK at the docs Aggers.

Got really warm this afternoon and I had to post a birthday card, so we went down to the bar for a beer or three

Grumpy now his his rather late afternoon nap

He rendered 2 sides of the new workshop, so deserves a kip.

Footie later, along with the remains of Saturdays curry - will be adding chips by request.

You'd pay dearly for that here Crommers! £3 per bag or item at the tips in Staffordshire now, only a few things are exempt from the charges.
