Another grey and chilly start here, but it got quite warm yesterday, so hoping for the same today.

Up early as we have to be in Aljustrel for 8.30 for Grumpy to have his 24 hour monitor fitted. Then back for breakfast.

Good morning all, it's pouring down here.

Joe's back at college today. He let Billy out into the garden earlier, Bill walked three slabs down the patio and turned around and came back in so I think it's safe to say that he won't be wanting to go for a walk this morning

Plans for today are to give the house a really good clean while everyone is out. I can finally see Tom's bedroom carpet! Moving him in went well last night and the flat is really lovely. It's private student accommodation in a lovely old building in the city centre, right across the road from the university. It's such a relief that they're not having to walk back to the university halls now, the area was really dodgy. The flat is massive. Tom's room is bigger than our main bedroom and there's a large kitchen/living area with a three piece suite, coffee table and a dining table and chairs for four. It's just him and Shannon there this week as Jake moved his stuff in and then went back to London as he's working until term starts. Oh, and Tom's bus stop to come back home (and vice versa) is right outside.

Morning all, dull day here, and there was plenty of rain overnight although it has stopped for the moment. After doing the usual tidying up chores, I am heading out to leave stuff to the cleaners and get some holiday bits and pieces. Mr Osc is hoping to get out for a game of golf before the rain returns. Looking forward to GBBO tonight, really enjoyed it last week.

So did we Di But when we got there, the young girl who fits it told us it's this week, so he had his ecg and we've just got back.

Have to go back tomorrow, to have it taken off and wait for the results.

Another nice long lie in this morning, only just sitting down to brekkie. Might go out later this afternoon for a very late lunch/early dinner, I've got a Toby voucher 2 for £10, roast dinner and no cooking is always good.
