Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 03 Oct 2017, 05:05

Good morning. :D

Sunshine and warm forecast. 8-) 8-)

It's all about speed this morning.

I'll have a quick run when it's light, a quick swim then a quick get ready session to meet a friend in town for coffee and breakfast. :D

Work 4 - 9 then home for the final of Dr Foster. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone

Ally, enjoy your quick morning :D but then definitely enjoy the coffee relax and the rest of your day
Jan, have you convinced Grumpy yet that the next project is the ruin at the end of the garden to be made into a lady shed for you - I think it'd be fab!
Lissie, that's actually quite a nice group of shops to have together - nothing that you can't get from at least one of them
Saundra, enjoy the harbour walk. If your weather is anything like here then what a beautiful day for doing just that
Crommers, do you ever have time for yourself? Enjoy the dog sitting and good luck with the shopping
Kaz, nice to have the holiday to look forward to. Mine already feels like it was a long long time ago

As Saundra and Lissie said already - a beautiful crisp autumn morning. Definite nip in the air now but when the sun's out and the skies are blue it's just perfect.

Another usual / usual for me. Home tonight to cook up a batch of summer in the winter chicken. Have loads of black cherry tomatoes that need using up and I think they'd be perfect for that dish as they're so full of flavour. It would be a pity to 'waste' them on making sauce and there are too many to be able to eat

Have a lovely day everyone, enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Morning all, it is bright and cold here, almost chilly enough to have the heat on when we woke up this morning :( and last night we could have done with the winter duvet - I will be changing the bedding at the weekend and will put it on then, as we will definitely need it when we get back from our holiday. Kaz, I bet you are looking forward to some nice sunshine and warmth.

I am on the bus into town, going to have a mooch around M&S and Debenhams plus pick up a few other bits...exciting things like printer ink

Morning all, it's a beautiful one here but I think gloves will be needed soon for early walks.

Cleaning to do today seeing as we were out a lot of yesterday and I didn't get chance to do the post-weekend housework. There's a pile of ironing too and more to come as there's another load on the line. Better crack on with it.

Had a lovely day out at the Black Country Museum yesterday, there were roaring fires in some of the cottages so it was hard to leave. Highlight had to be the pigs in the garden of one of the cottages, they were gorgeous! Oh, and the fish and chips were a highlight too. And the Eccles cake from the baker's shop. John was proper greedy, we went in the rebuilt Cradley Workers Institute which is now a cafe and had coffee and he had a Brownie with his. I'd already decided I'd get a cake from the bakers in the Victorian village so just had coffee. We then headed back to the bakers and he couldn't resist a carrot cake from there  I'd love a metabolism like his!

Very sad news about Tom Petty :(

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

Your day out sounds lovely Jo, especially the cakes

We had our flu jabs a couple of weeks ago Lissie.

Didn't venture out yesterday, but would be a shame to waste this lovely weather, I need to collect a prescription and the fruit bowl is bare.

Have a good day :D
