Will be leaving soon, vis a couple of supermarkets to get provisions for tomorrow and then picking up a load of chicken from Antonia's, when we get bac.k Start the cookathon this afternoon.

It rained overnight, and was dull firs thing, so we were planning a sightseeing day out to Lindos for the ancient ruins, but the sun burned through, over breakfast, and we're having another day by the pool instead Tomorrow is forecast cloudy so maybe then Definitely on the agenda this trip though Am going for a swim when the water heats up a bit

I am still in bed feeling sorry for myself.
I have got sciatica and can hardly walk for the pain.
I have been awake since 3 so will try and have a sleep

Afternoon all, it's dull and cold here We've been Google Earthing where our apartment is in Washington, looks like a nice street and near to a decent supermarket and the main railway station. The person renting has told us of restaurants and coffee shops in the vicinity, plus there are lots of restaurants in Union Station too. All quite exciting!

I've also changed our bedding and put on the winter duvet, as it has suddenly got noticeably chilly. Mr Osc has cleaned the upstairs windows. I've lots more to do, take the suitcases down from the attic, do some online stuff, tackle the ironing, put away more summer clothes....plenty to keep me out of mischief We are going out for a walk now to get some air before he settles down to watch golf and I get on with my list. Lissie, I hope you got some more sleep and feel a bit better.

Good afternoon everyone.

It's bright and sunny here, and we've had a trip into town this morning, but I was glad to get back home
and get my feet up, as my thigh muscles are still are still a problem. They are slowly getting better, but
strangely enough, they are fine when I do a brisk walk, it's shuffling about in shops that causes the pains.
Still, for my age I suppose I can't grumble. I'll have a restful afternoon. Looking forward to Strictly tonight.

Not a very nice day, very dull with odd spits of rain, not so cold though.

Bb's working, I've been out to the pop-up farm shop and treated us to a small joint of pork for tomorrow. Can't remember when we last had a roast

Kaz we waited for a cloudy day too then it cleared up
Lissie hope it improves soon x
Osc I've just been sorting out clothes too, my wardrobe is very empty as I couldn't decide which winter box to unpack first

I've made a start on the cookathon, but some of the chicken is still frozen I asked for it to be taken out of the freezer yesterday, which I think they did, but left it in the fridge, so still rock hard

Grumpy is cleaning the pool and grumbling about it - well, we haven't used it for a while, both having nasty colds and away twice, so it will be grubby

Rather warm here.

Molly is still sulking a little, but she's had some meat and now gone for a lie-down.
