Morning all :D

Dry but a bit dull here.

Change of plans, no visitors today, they set off and the car was playing up so sensibly decided not to risk the motorway. Bit disappointed, was really looking forward to seeing them all, but it can't be helped. Snap Ally I'd also planned to do a big cottage pie, not too much of a problem, we'll still have a small one and I can put the extra meat in the freezer for another time. Not so easy with the puds though, none of them are freezable so we've somehow got to get through a trifle, chocolate cheesecake and lemon pie  Looks like healthy eating is out of the window for the next few days

Have a good day :D

Morning all, it's a beautiful autumn day here and I have towels out on the line. I suspect that might be the last h/work I do today ;) We had great fun at the dance last night, but my annual lurgy was kicking in and I had virtually no voice left by the end of the evening. It's a bit better this morning but I'm rather tired. We did something we rarely do - got into our tracksuits and had breakfast in front of the tv watching Strictly. We will have our showers soon and might go for a walk. Otherwise no plan for the day. Hubby has put a nice piece of pork in the slow cooker, looking forward to that.
