Well it's Monday again, so WW this morning. We had a frost here overnight, the first of the season, so it's big coat weather I might even get my gloves out

He'll come over to see us on the Saturday Di - normally we'd go to Nottingham for the weekend but we don't get in till quite late on the Friday and have an early morning flight on the Monday so we'll stay in Brum and he can visit us.

Good morning all, it's a beauty here! Clear blue skies, sunshine and frost. Absolutely gorgeous!

I didn't really need to take Billy for a very early walk this morning but going out while the sun was rising was too hard to resist. I'll take him again this afternoon rather than waiting for his usual evening walk as we don't want him getting spooked by fireworks after dark this week.

I'll have a hoover around in a bit and then clean the bathrooms, there's no washing to do and I cut the lawns yesterday.

We went to Stafford yesterday afternoon and popped into The Range. I've never been in one of those before, could've spent a small fortune!

Gloves are definitely needed Kaz. Big coat, gloves, scarf and hat here this morning

Money spending morning Joao Luis to be paid, house insurance to be , stuff for the pool, stuff for Gladys, appointment for Grumpy to see Dr grumpy as I want him to have an anti pneumonia jab and you need a prescription, apparently and I'm sure I've forgotten something. Oh yes, estrume for the garden and cement for walls.

Change of plan - once I've dropped Jacob at the airport I'm going to park up at la playa and walk to Benalmadena port and back.

A nice 16km in the sunshine will do me the world of good and I can pop in to see my folks and have a cuppa with them.

A cold morning today and first scraping ice off windscreen for the season - brrrr. Then the train had a problem with the heating and I struggled to get my hands warm, but hey - at work now and nice and warm so all good again

Jo, the fireworks here haven't been too bad yet - but I suspect this coming weekend will be the worst so I'll be making sure the cats are in come nightfall. Trick or treat tomorrow evening so I'm putting the usual sign up on the door to say that I don't participate. Thankfully most kids seem to respect it; and I feel like a grump when I put it up but the knocking / ringing the bell just freaks the cats out, and also I'd worry that one of the cats got out, so it's just not worth it.
