I have to say that C4 have done a good job.

Pru Leith was a damned good replacement for Mary Berry and Noel and Sandi were more than equal to Sue and Mel.

However.... the Final. It was supposed to be based on the performance on the day. After the first two rounds it was all equal - 1 and 3, 3 and 1, 2 and 2, so the last challenge should have sorted it, and for me it was Kate.

Good series, tho'.

I thought it should go to Kate based on tonight too WM. However, can't abide Pru Leith and can take it or leave it regarding Noel and Sandi.

Maybe Sophie's cake was more complex because of the number of layers and flavours?

I was quite happy with the new presenters, it was still the same Gbbo.

I thoroughly enjoyed the series and loved Prue, Noel and Sandi. I wonder is Noel as sweet in real life as he appears to be? For me, the programme has been improved by the change.
