Thanks Ally :). Me too. When she spoke to her grandson Dan yesterday, to cancel his visit, he said she probably picked it up in Outpatients at Cheltenham, as it has been brewing since then. He's an A&E nurse! xxxx

Morning all

Ally, so hard to say goodbye. Big (((hugs))) :(
Jan, enjoy the market and please wish Antonia a very happy birthday from me, have fun
Di, Kaz and Saundra, enjoy your respective days of pootling / mooching about and good luck to M for his dental appointment. The cost will be well worth the result I'm sure. And sorry to hear D isn't well - fingers crossed it's nothing to serious and she's back to her usual self very soon.
Crommers please do try take it easy at some point - I really hope son will do something amazing to say thank you for all you're doing for him.

Usual work day for me and then meeting with friends for drinks after work. Ended up driving 197 miles yesterday; it was a long day. Tired today and could do with go straight home but one of the people we're meeting tonight is heading back to Australia in a few days so we want to say good bye

have a lovely day all x

Good morning all! It was misty when I went out with Billy at 6.45am and by the time we were heading back an hour later the mist had turned to thick fog. We're now back to mist although the sun's trying to break through it.

I've done some shopping and there's washing out on the line; a load of towels and also Joe's hoodies which didn't fully dry yesterday. I'll walk Billy again this afternoon so that we avoid the fireworks tonight. There were so many going off last night :x

Ally, I can't believe it's that time already. The next 20 weeks will fly by though (hopefully because that's when I'm off to New York  ) Anyway, wishing them a safe journey home.

Kaz, I hope D is feeling better soon.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

(((Ally))) safe flight to your parents, always difficult to say goodbye xx

Hope D feels better soon Kaz.

Wrap up and take it easy Saundra xx

We didn't see or hear any holloween activities last night, this cul-de-sac is very quiet and mainly older people so tends to get forgotten. Not complaining, I don't really mind, but E absolutely hates having to answer the door every few minutes. He's actually brilliant with children but once we're sat down for the evening, that's it. He's the same about carol singers too

We're off to The Botany for afternoon tea today. April, the manager, runs it each month in aid of motor neurone disease, well worth the calories.

Have a good day :D

Waste of time going to the market - most of the stalls were missing

But we did get 3 chairs cushions for outside.

Now going to attack the ironing

It's getting cloudy and windy, just right for some rain, forecast tomorrow, for 3 days :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Good afternoon everybody.
We are in Gran Canary on a cruise. Been off and done some shopping. Sunny again. We are getting brown. Will be home on Monday afternoon.
Have met several passengers we have seen on other cruises. Many passengers dressed up for Hallowen and there was a parade which started at 10.30 p.m.
Having a relaxing time with plenty of drink food and sunshine.
Best wishes to everybody who are not too good and need help.

Change of plan..s*d staying in!

Far too nice to not be out in the sunshine so we're going for a few beers in the plaza and will bring a Chinese takeaway home when we're hungry.
