Good Morning Wednesday

Good morning all. Too dark for a weather report but it's supposed to be okay today I think.

Off out with Billy shortly and then back to wait for an Amazon delivery, I'm not optimistic that it'll be here early though as it hasn't yet been dispatched! John's off to Sunderland shortly and Joe has a driving lesson later, that's not until 5.30 though.

John had some surprising news at work yesterday, they've got to vacate the office. They're on a business park just on the outskirts of Lichfield and have been for almost 30 years but the landlords are demolishing it all to build warehouse units so they've got to find somewhere else.

After yesterday's endless rain today is beautiful.

I did do a fair bit of h-work and odd jobs so I suppose that's good.
Nothing on again today, I'm free as a bird

A walk up to Sainsbury's for me later, I'll ring D first and see if she needs anything. There is a small pile of ironing lurking in the utility room, better get rid of that later Possibly zumba tonight, will see how I feel later Becky had her first appraisal at work yesterday, they are very happy with her, so that's good news Mick's Aunt J is home from hospital, after her op last week, all seems to have gone well

Morning all. Saw a fox last night as I drove to the next village, it flitted across the road into the playing fields. There are lots about this year I think.
Cloudless blue sky this morning, frosty overnight.
Son is having a fridge freezer delivered this morning so we'll let the man in for that then I think MrsC might be whizzing her dad around Sainsbury's.

I bet the cold was a shock to the system Ally! Enjoy you Zumba Kaz and your freedom Di. Hopefully John's firm will relocate OK Jo.

Fog just about gone and the sun is trying to come out. Feeling rather chilly out there.

Molly is in winter mode - sleeping inside all night and now back in for a brush and pounding away on Grumpy's t-shirt

Soup making this morning and stew too - soaked some beans yesterday, so they'll be chucked in too. Then off to Ourique to hopefully get this pneumonia jab sorted. Will have a pit-stop at the bar on the way back.

Hope John's firm find new premises soon Jo and well done Becky on her appraisal. Used to hate having them done, pointless exercise, I always thought.

Kaz, yes - clear skies, sunshine and frost here too. Had a lovely walk with Billy, we walked down to the golf course which he loves but it's not often that there's no one playing on there but we had it to ourselves today. There's one bunker in particular that he loves to run around in. Then on the way back we ran into one of our neighbours with her three Springers so he had fun running around on the common with them.

Yep, it's his first lesson in the dark, and at rush hour too.

Since getting back I've stripped the beds and remade them, the bedding's washed, there's now a load of towels in the machine and I've put some cleaner in the oven (the shelves are in a plastic bag with some cleaner in the utility room). . I'll leave that all until this afternoon to do it's job.

They're hoping to find new offices soon, the director doesn't want to be working in the middle of a building site. There does seem to be plenty of these office spaces being built around here but the one secretary is really worrying as she lives just a couple of minutes away at the moment and needs to go home each lunchtime to see to her dog

Still no sign of the parcel being dispatched.

Another good night, but was rather rudely woken up at 9am by rather loud machinery, the people opposite are having a new drive installed. Oh how they must have hated us last year
