Morning :)
Beautifully bright, sunny and freezing!

Off early for yoga this morning, followed by coffee, then to the hospital for blood tests.

Hope you all have a good day

Morning Di, and everyone :)

So glad you're enjoying yoga Di :) Pilates has been such a benefit to me, I would recommend either it or yoga to anyone :) Good luck with the tests xxxx

Beautiful sunshine here, frost and blue skies :D :D Off to WW in a while, hoping for a loss this week after a tiny gain last time, but we'll see! Might buy a few small stocking fillers after our lunch, will see what I can find :cute: Not sure about zumba, it's just not the same when Jane is away and someone else covers her classes.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Di, Kaz and everyone

Dull, grey, windy, damp and not very nice this morning - this wasn't forecast

I had been planning on spending the day outside, weeding, stone moving, re-planting and generally having fun, but think I might have to have a re-think. Either that, or put socks, jumper and coat on :? :?

My problem with yoga and pilates is Gladys  I'd love to do pilates again and although Antonia says she understands, I don't think she does. So I'll just stick to me walking a lot, using the cross trainer ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

I hope the weather bucks it's ideas up Jan, and enjoy the yoga Di. Kaz, C*******s presents?! You are organised.

Off shortly to look at cars. Sister in law's Fiesta is seventeen years old now and on its last legs. She fancies a Hyundai i10, like Gals!

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning on this ridiculously warm day! :o 8-) 8-)

Was woken up at 5.57!! by a cat mewing. He had decided to take residence up our apple tree!

Such a din was he making that I had to go out and gently (with a few whispered sweary words  ) coax him down which he did. Thank goodness he didn't go right to the top!

I've been for my run, done 2 loads of washing that are now out on the line and I'm about to shower and walk into town to meet a friend for coffee and cake at Tiede. :P :P

Work 6 - 9.

Just realised we break up for the festive period 5 weeks tomorrow!

That means report writing time again! :o

Good Morning from the Garden of England.
Sunny but bitter cold.
Could`nt put the dustbin out last night as it was too windy.
They don`t come until lunch time at the earliest so i did`nt
worry. I woke early so decided to get up and put the bin out.
Good job i did as they have been already.!!!
You can`t win with them!!
Waiting to double up on my nectar points at Sainsburys (think it
is this week) I will have £130 so will get it for clothes and start Christmas
shopping. The 4 Grand daughters like TU Night clothes so that will be easy.
Have a good one and stay warm.

Good morning all. It's clouding over here after a beautiful start. It's very cold and frosty though.

I was out with Billy at 6.45, we walked around 4 miles. He's taken a liking to having a good run on the golf course first thing when there's no one else around. Went on the cross trainer, connected my iPad onto it and watched a couple of episodes of Parks and Recreation while exercising when we got back.

Housework for me now, and I'm going to experiment with a gammon joint in the Instant Pot later. I've only experimented with soup yet. On Saturday I made chicken and veg, threw in the veg, herbs and some frozen pre-cooked chicken and after five minutes cooking we had delicious soup. I've never used a pressure cooker or anything like that before so this has really taken me by surprise!

We went over to Wolverhampton last night and met up with Tom, Shannon and their flatmate Jake in the pub next to their flat. We had a couple of hours with them. They'd been to Shrewsbury as Jake was involved in the Remembrance Day Parade there. He looked so smart in his uniform, and so young too. He's shared with Tom since they started at university so we've got to know him well and him being in the army really does worry me. He'll be off to Sandhurst when he's finished his degree to complete his officer training.

Ally, time's flying isn't it!

Cromwell, my mother in law's getting an Hyundai at the weekend. Not sure what model though, all I know is that it's small and white

Have a good day all!

Morning all

Had a super busy and lovely weekend and now back to the daily humdrum that is work :D

A sunny but cold start to the morning here as well - had to sit in the car for a few minutes to try defrost the windscreen. So darn annoying though because same as my old car this one mists up on the inside as well; but nothing that can be done about it sadly - I see quite a few (and more expensive) cars at the station in the evenings with the same problem.

Usual / usual for me - have the family popping round in the evenings to shower. Their boiler packed up on Thursday last week and whilst the necessary spare part has been ordered the company apparently has an engineer available this coming Thursday at the earliest to fit it - all a bit daft really. So they're without heating or hot water. Thankfully Karl was able to bring home an industrial heater from his work so the house is warm enough but they're struggling with the no hot water.

Have a lovely day all; enjoy the bits and bobs you're all up to xx

Morning all, it's a nice day although cold. I am about 95% back to normal so will head off to the gym this morning but will take it easy. Then back to do whatever I feel like. I was knitting a little shrug for Kellie a while back so I might finish it. Mr Osc is playing golf later.
