You actually surprise yourself with how many steps you do in a day, and they do spur you on to do more. I'm often found rushing around the house at close the Midnight to run up the miles or steps for that day

I don't need one - I know how many miles I've walked by the state of my ankle

Dimas now coming tomorrow, has to do a quick repair to the rotovator, so I'll go down to the veggie plot and dig up the garlic.

Just about ready for that day next month, since we now have cards (from the hospice this morning), c cake (Tesco this morning), mince pies and coffee shortbread, and our rib of beef for that dinner...surely we hardly need anything else

Bb collected Minnie while I was out, she does look super smart, younger and has a pretty pink bow :)
Unexpected visitors this afternoon will enjoy admiring her :)
Her biggest fan D and another friend coming for a cup of tea, luckily I bought choc chip shortbread in Tesco :)

Nice one - I went looking for one the other day but couldn't find anything I liked. Admittedly only looked in TK Max but I've always found just the perfect bag in there so a bit disappointed this time. Will keep looking and if the perfect bag catches my eye then great; if not then so be it

I only need a few so it's usually quite easy - 1x secret santa; 1x niece & 1x nephew. Postman and milkman usually get a bottle of wine; vet teams get prosecco and cheese and cat sitting neighbour gets lots of edible goodies. Easy peasy

Your red bag is so lovely Ria it will be hard to replace, if that's the one you're still using :)

Ria, I went in TK Maxx yesterday and noticed that they had fewer bags than normal, due to all of the Christmas gift sets on display by the looks of things.

Funnily enough, considering the lack of shops around here, there is quite a lot of choice for bags!
In town is Maxwells for Kipling and pricier, plus a nice stall on the market with Italian leather bags (where I bought my lovely little red one), and in Christchurch a really nice leather shop :)

I've yet to start the C word shopping. I don't enjoy it at all, I find myself standing staring at things for inspiration and then walking away having not found any!!! It's quite stressful and my anxiety levels hit max round about now. I know putting off the inevitable doesn't work.....need to start proper soon....
