Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here at the moment.

Good luck with the social services peeps Lissie.

Kaz. hope things go smoothly for D.

Weekly shop for us, plus some Christmas shopping. Need to pick up some vouchers for a couple of the grandchildren and a few other bits. Eldest daughter is hoping to get down here for E's 65th birthday in two weeks time and we'll do the pressie swap with them then so trying to get organised.

Have a good day :D

Hope D's cataract operation goes well. Lots of vibes.
I had mine done last year. No problems since. Was the second one to have it done in the morning so was out quickly. The second one was in the afternoon and I was one of the last to go for the operation. My wife was getting worried as she was waiting for the phone call to say she could come and pick me up as I could not drive.
Have been to the opticians this morning for my annual check up. No change from last year. Still do not need glasses for reading or driving. Not bad as I will soon be 83.

Incredibly so Ria! They said 2 hours post op, but once they had taken her BP and she'd had a cuppa and an apricot Danish she was good to go! :D

Kaz it really is quick and easy these days - glad it is done and dusted, she'll have drops to put in for four to six weeks and then another sight test to see how her eye is 'seeing-wise' IYSWIM. Sending healing vibes for D xxx

Happy belated Birthday to Gal's Jen for yesterday! Did you get out together Gal?

Aw thanks Jo!!! :D Yes, we're not long back!! I took her to the massage place and I waited in the lovely treatment area with gorgeous views whilst she had her massage....then we went to a newish café for lunch, and enormous slices of cake!!! :D :D :D She came here for an hour or so before she left to avoid the rush hour traffic back to Kyle's - it's so nice to spend some time with her, chatting and having a girly giggle, she's great company - thank you Kaz and yourself for remembering xxx

Didn't make it to Aquafit today, I didn't feel right first thing so I waited till they'd be coming out for coffee and went along to meet them and have a natter and a drink, then home for Jen arriving. Apparently on the last lesson before Christmas we're all wearing festive antlers and tinsel, and Dale the instructor, is being Santa...

Yesterday I didn't switch the laptop on! We went to the café for lunch at work, and then Tom and I went out for a meal in the evening, after collecting Lily from nursery and having a mad hour with her! It's all go....

Have a good rest of THursday all xxx
