Good morning...I can't believe it's Friday again!

Forecast is smashing again.

A quick run first then back to Plaza Mayor. C & A had a pair of brown suede ankle boots that I wanted but not in my size but they ordered a pair for me to pick up today. I might accidentally walk into H&M again too.

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don and the gang for Friday beers and tapas.

Good morning Ally and all.

All I know is that it's forecast to be chilly this morning, I'll be going out in 5 minutes so I'll see just how cold then. Joe's in college all day and John's using up another day's holiday. We're off out for lunch, there's a place in town we've been saying that we'd try so we're going there. His mother is bringing Tom's car up today and then John's driving her back first thing tomorrow.

Hope D is feeling okay this morning Kaz, so pleased that it all went well for her xx

Morning all
Missy hit her head on a table a week ago and gave herself concussion. She managed and hour and a half at school today, so there’s progress.
No screens, books, writing etc. this is hard work for me. We have done the beach, walks in parks, some crafts, and lots of things for girl guide badges.
Weather is getting nice and warm during the day. Maggie is now 13 weeks old. 3 more weeks till we can walk her in the park etc.

Had a lovely evening with the boys; eldest starts his job on 4th December, and has found a room in a flat share.
Two minutes' walk from the job, with a reasonable rent

Morning everyone

Hazy first thing, but clearing up nicely. Much better than yesterday, when we couldn't see the Algarve hills for mist

Oucherino for Missy Weka That was a nasty crack on the head - hope she's back to normal soonest and hugs for you both xx

Off to Castro Verde later. I would like/need a new deep fat fryer and Intermarche are normally pretty good on prices. Pingo had one at 40€ and Wortens are expensive, so will give them a miss. Might just pop into a Chinese shop or two, looking at thin tops. Weird weather at the moment, typical autumn/winter. Cold first thing, hots up, gets very hot and then cools down rather quickly, so we're wearing thin layers at the moment.

Antonia is coming round for her birthday present dinner. What do you give some-one who swans around with a Gucci handbag for her birthday? Sausage and mash Mitch will come too, if he's feeling okay.

Frosty this morning here as well - sat in the car for 5 mins nursing a cup of coffee whilst the car was warming up and wind screen defrosting
Home tonight and possibly busy day tomorrow

A bit of a wasted journey to Sainsbury yesterday - went to the one closest to me re the voucher double up. But they no longer stock fitbits because they have an Argos in the back of their store; and Argos is taking more and more of their small electrical business off them. Oh well.. will try the larger one close to Karl and Nadine and see what they have and then figure it out from there

Morning all

Bright and sunny here

Need to pop into town today, went to collect our prescriptions on Wednesday and although they were ready we couldn't have them as the pharmacist had just gone off for lunch. I understand this happens in small pharmacies, but this is a large Boots, really annoying Didn't want to hang around for over an hour, it was raining and there wasn't enough time left on the parking ticket. Hoping we don't have to wait around too long this time.
