Good morning Ally and all, we've got a rainy afternoon and evening forecast today. It's dry for now though so I'll walk Billy in a few minutes and I'll be back in time to see Joe off to college.

I'll take advantage of the rain and start planning for Christmas I think. Make a list of what else I need to buy for people, that sort of thing.
I need to remove some glitter nail polish too, hopefully the old layer of wet polish on top and a wipe over with remover trick will do the job. I love glittery polish but hate removing it.

Have a good day all!

Morning :)
Very dull here, think it's forecast to be cloudy all day.

Shall be going out this morning, a click and collect from M&S (c present for Bb at 20% off) plus a couple of other shops to visit.
That should be c-shopping almost done. We're not buying each other much because of my ticker ;) We always have a strict budget anyway.

Hope everyone has a good day

Good Morning all from a fairly mild windy Kent.
Got to wait in for a parcel from Amazon. It is a jumper
i bought for Don for our 61st wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks.
He saw the Cardiac nurse yesterday and she is experimenting with his
tablets to see if she can get an improvement for him as he has moderate
to severe heart failure now. Poor old thing--he is always cheerful and makes
out he is fine.
Have a good day.

Morning all :)

I went to Zumba last night for the first time since I had that nasty lurgy! I expected to ache, but don't, which is good ;) I lost another pound at WW this week 8-) D is feeling much better, and is booked in now for the other eye, on December 15th, as long as all is well with the first eye when she has her follow-up appointment next Monday :)

Back to town this morning as I have a parcel to post, then up to see D for lunch. I'll pick up some nice soup or sandwiches in M&S for us.

My friend Emma lost her engagement ring while we were in town yesterday! :( She is really upset, as you can imagine! She's retraced her steps, and reported it to the police, but so far nothing :(

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Gorgeous morning :D

I'll head out and do more gardening later - Grumpy will be lounging around

We don't bother with presents for each other, haven't for years. And only send a few cards - the Portuguese don't really do cards, so always have heck of a job finding some and when I do, they're hideously expensive.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, well done at WW Kaz. We are going shortly to son's house for MrsC to do a bit of cleaning and get it ready for the move. After that I don't know.

Very dull and grey here but not cold.

It's not cold here either Cromwell, it's dull and quite breezy though.

Kaz, I saw about Emma's ring on Facebook :( I really hope that she gets it back. I can't imagine how anyone could find something like that and not hand it into the police, it'd obviously be an item that meant something to someone. Maybe the finder just hasn't got around to handing it in yet. Let's hope that she gets some good news about it xx
That's good news about D!

Morning all

a grey but trying to be sunny(ish) day today if that makes sense - it looks like it should be a cold snowy winter day but it's actually quite warm :?

Kaz, I really do hope Emma's ring is found - how awful for her :( But good news re D's eye and your pound off - good going!
Jan, happy to pick you up some Christmas cards in the sales after Christmas and send them over to you ;-) - just let me know what style you like. They're really cheap then.

Enjoy your days pootling, shopping etc everyone - stay dry / warm / cool (delete as appropriate)

Usual/usual for me

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Rained overnight, bright and dry right now.

We don't buy each other Christmas pressies these days either Jan, but with 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren it's still an expensive time  Already bought quite a few, just need to start wrapping, my least favourite bit.

Cinema for us today, we're seeing Justice League. It's not had good reviews, but Z took the boys to see it on Sunday and they all loved it so we'll see. So long as there's lots of action we'll be happy

Have a good day :D
