Jo my daily cortado is most definitely a treat, and I often think it's so good it's like eating it :)

Dolce gusto have been advertising a new one on Amazon, Preludio, I thought I might try it but none so far in W/rose.

Morning all :D

You all sound busy, we've only just got up

We enjoyed the film yesterday, plenty of action to keep us happy.

Not sure what we're doing today, we might pop out, will see how it goes......

Have a good day :D

Just looked to the Preludio, Di. I hope you manage to find it soon. I need to get some hot chocolate pods for Joe but Asda had none this morning, they were very poorly stocked. It used to be a 24 hour store until recently and they used to fill the shelves overnight but now they close between 10pm and 7am Mon-Thurs so it's never particularly well stocked first thing.

All done and I was glowing 8-) 8-) 8-)

The post office is up a steep hill, so I walked up rather quickly and not too out of breath

As we might get rain - well, drizzle by the sound of it - later in the week, Grumpy is raking the veggie plot over, one handed     Dimas can't get the part to fix the rotovator, so unless we borrow one from Jose Felipe or buy one, that will have to do.

I like accidental clothes, I get them a lot :Hi: :Hi:

I've just taken Billy out for 90 minutes, it was a lovely sunny and very windy walk. I mowed the lawns in the back garden when we got back. It's gone very dull now so the forecast rain can't be far away.

Never thought I'd say this Jo, but I would dearly like some English rain at the moment. Everything is so dry and even the rivers are drying up

So much water was used up north because of the fires, towns are just running out now :? :?

Yes Ria, that was his thinking. The surgeon also told Pete that he is now 1 inch taller than he was before!

Those who stupidly started the fires have also deprived people of water then :(
It's not long started here, the forecast was actually for heavy rain from 2pm but it's not too bad yet.

Evening all, that day got away from me :o Absolutely miserable weather all day and still raining with lots of flooding around. I went to the gym this morning, having first gone to the post office to take out some money and post off a couple of things. When I got back, Mr Osc wanted to go to the driving range to try out a club he bought on ebay. We headed to the usual driving range but couldn't get there due to flooding, so we went to one a little bit further away. We had a cuppa and scone, then I sat and read my book while he worked his way through a bucket of 100 golf balls. Then we did the supermarket shop on the way home. We were glad to be home and in for the evening. He is watching football and I will probably read.

I went out in the end ;) Got the bus down to the Quays, had a look round the market, bought some Christmas bits, then met B after work. Her shift ends at 1.30 when she's on earlies, and her bus goes right by the Quays, so we had a snack and drink together, and she helped carry my stuff home ;)
