Good morning Ally and all, I think we're forecast a sunny day.

I need to put some new batteries in my torch and then me and Billy will be off out. I'll walk him again this afternoon , Joe's in college at 1 and it's food shopping tonight. I need to work out meals for the next week and do a list, I hate that job.

Still a strong wind but not the gales we had yesterday. Think it's meant to stay dry here too.

Out early for craft this morning, haven't done any of my knitting since last week

I'm just back with Billy, it's very bright and sunny although still windy and we must've had a lot of rain overnight as everywhere is very muddy and some paths are waterlogged. Saw a few large pine trees that have come down too.

Sun and clouds this morning and rain well, showers, are forecast not looking outside, looks lovely, but we'll see.

Houseworkey day for me, I have the washing machine on, I'll be doing a huge stew later on (dried beans put in water yesterday, so should be ready by lunchtime) and will get the vac out later and maybe the duster too

Jo I hardly ever plan meals, although I often think I should I tend to open the fridge door, frown, look in the freezer, scratch my head, then bung something together

Going up to see D in a while, then Pilates tonight. The sun's out here, and the dreadful winds and overnight rain have cleared the way for a beautiful day!

Good luck with the rain Jan, I hope you get enough. I quite like lists Jo! And wd with the marking Ally, that must be a bit of a chore. /enjoy the crafts Di. I hope d is improving Kaz, and that the pilates goes well.

Not much on here. I'll clear the hired van of moving rubbish and then after that the day is clear. Like the sky! A lovely morning here, blue sky and a brisk wind but noticeably cooler than yesterday.

Morning all its bright here in fact its brilliant after yesterday so I'm of to the seaside later feel sorry for all the people flooded out tho thinking of Jane wainwright it's Paul's funeral right now and would have been my husband birthday

What a night!.The wind was blowing plant pots etc all
over the place and the noise kept me awake for ages.
It is trying to brighten up now but does`nt look too hopeful.
M&S dine in today. I thought it started on Tuesday so it was
a wasted journey as it did`nt start till yesterday.
