Black Friday

Postby JanB » 23 Nov 2017, 19:04

has now spread to Portugal

As I'd like/need a stand alone freezer, we're going to Castro Verde tomorrow, to see what Wortens have. They deliver free :Hi: :Hi:

We'll also pop into Intermarche and see if they have Molly treats, as she's giving me ear ache   :cute:

Loads of shops here, both online and on the high street, have a week of it! ;) Mick has bought a new laptop - he got a nice 'reward' from work, for his 30 year service, so treated himself, and everything in the Gap outlet shop yesterday had 50% off the outlet price! So I bought H a few bits ;)

Black Friday

Postby Weka » 24 Nov 2017, 05:54

I’ve bought myself 2 diamond rings. The $69 one was down from $399, and the $49 one was only down from $299.
The both need resizing. I bet that’s more than the rings. Lol.

But no, it’s not really a thing here yet. A few shops have sales, and the rest is the media hyping it up trying to convince everyone that there are sales on at every shop. And there’s not.
Everything happens for a reason

Saundra that's a brilliant bargain!
You too Weka :)

Neither of us want/need anything in particular so will be staying away from the shops and emails :)

Yes, it's only really a bargain if it's stuff you need or want, eh Di ;) 8-) It is easy to get carried away otherwise ;)

Son went to Curry's this morning at 7am to look at tv's. He said there were more staff than customers and the only decent offers were on tellys that cost more than £1,000. So he didn't bother!

I feel sorry for the staff at times like this Cromwell! The Next sales often start ridiculously early - who needsto buy a new skirt at 6am FGS? :(
