Monday again! Dull, damp and windy out there, not so cold.

Out early for yoga, followed by coffee and then the hospital for bloods.

Good morning Di and all!

It's a dull but milder one here too, and we've had loads of rain overnight so this morning's walk was a very soggy and muddy one. Now we're back I'm just going to have a half hour workout on the cross trainer and then I'll do the ironing. What hadn't dried on the line yesterday has been on the airer overnight.

Wet and very windy here and has been most of the night as it woke me up.
Had to get up early to put the bins out. They used to empty them usually in the afternoon
but for the last couple of weeks they have come about 8am!! It was too windy to put them out
last night.

Will be making a start on clearing what will be come the bottom drive, just below the pool. I've sprayed it a couple of times and only a few stragglers left to remove and by the fence. Then I'll have to collect a load more stones The plan is to gravel it, later.

Dull cold and rainy here, a day to spend by the fire. Which is a shame as I'm having to empty son's wheelie bin by hand. When the house was being done one of the workmen filled it with plaster rubble and sharp objects. It's so heavy it will barely move.

Crommers, I have to ask, does you son do anything at the house

Had to get up early to put the bins out. They used to empty them usually in the afternoon but for the last couple of weeks they have come about 8am!! It was too windy to put them out last night.

Lissie, are your bins at the front or the back of the property? If at the front then find out if your Council have the same aid that Guildford Council do... you apply for a 'I need help with recycling' poster and then put that up in your windows; which means you don't have to put your bins out by the kerb, the binmen come collect it. They'd obviously need to be in an accessible area though. My neighbour has one of them and it's worked a treat for her.

Well, a super busy weekend was had and I'm shattered. Not sleeping well at all and I think it's because i'm just getting to hot at night, so tonight I'm going to put the summer duvet back on the bed and see if that makes a difference. Lots of washing needs doing as well as I didn't have a chance to do anything over the weekend. Went birthday party frock shopping and came home with a lovely dress (yes, me in a dress ) as well as some sparkly tops so really successful day. Yesterday to Costco to place the order for the food and also to ikea to get a few bits and bobs - my poor cats have been sorely neglected

So a week of usual/usuals coming up which is nice and needed.

Morning all, it's dry after quite a lot of rain during the night, but cloudy. Kellie slept well last night, which was goid for us all. She had a bout of what we figured was homesickness yesterday evening, crying and didn't eat her dinner, poor little thing. However she eventually brightened up and was in great form when Mummy, Daddy and Michael Facetimed from London. She's perfectly happy today, playing with the dolls house downstairs. I am off to the gym shortly, then when I get back, Mr Osc is going out to play golf. After dinner, we will bring Kellie home and put her to bed, the flight from London lands sometime around 7pm.
