Not doing a lot today., In fact, nowt. As wet stuff is forecast off and on all day, we've decided to have a really lazy day. Pasties out of the freezer for dinner, although I'll cook breakfast later. Just read, watch tv and chill.

Morning all, bright, sunny and cold here. I am off into town to meet up with two "girls" with whom I went to school, last saw them about 18 years ago. On 4th July last year, my friend in Boston was in the Ladies room of a Boston restaurant and was talking to a woman who asked if she was Irish - the conversation went on as to where they were from, what school and finally that in fact they had been in the same class! When I was in Boston last month, L told me this story and I emailed A to say how amazing that was. As a result of that, I'm meeting A and another classmate today, last saw them at a school reunion in 1989. So that will be lunch and lots of chat! Better go and put on some makeup so I don't frighten them

Need to pick up stuff from M&S and Next today, more Christmas pressies, but hopefully if it's all suitable that will be my lot. My cold is in full swing so will wrap up warm.

Good afternoon everybody.
Sunny and cold.Only been out to send a parcel back. We use one of the courier firms Very easy. You pay and then print the label off. Stick it on the parcel and then take it to a local shop. In the shop there is one area where they keep parcels which are either being collected or returned.
Relaxing this afternoon as we are going dancing tonight

My Canadian cousin's sister has gone missing in Toronto.
V lives in London, is the one Ria met, and has been to stay with us.
She is looking at flights...tbh it's looking a bit scary, the police are interviewing an uber driver and an ex boyfriend...
