Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 29 Nov 2017, 05:36

Good morning.

The reservoirs will be very happy. I woke up to the sound of rain. :D :D :D

Forecast heavy showers today and tomorrow then back to sunshine Friday. I've just been standing on the terrace enjoying that 'fresh rain on the earth' smell.

I enjoyed my long day at work yesterday and used the time wisely...I've now planned all my lessons right up till we finish in 3 weeks!  We have national holidays here next week on the 6th & 8th December. As the 8th falls on a Friday a puente (bridge) is taken so it feels like the holidays are zooming up! :o

Happily pootling at home today then work 6 - 9.

Double 'P' tonight...pizza & Peaky Blinders.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally and all, I think we're forecast a dry but bitterly cold day today.

Off out with Billy as soon as I'm ready and then back to get ready to go out to do some shopping. Jobs to do around the house after that and we'll walk Billy again tonight. Not sure what I'm going to watch tonight, I finished Parks and Recreation last night so I'll be having withdrawals.

Ally, I love that smell!

Have a good day all!

Good morning Ally & JoM,
Another cold and frosty morning. Lovely blue sky.
Going to the bank and some shopping this morning.
Then just pottering. Will have to keep the heating on all day.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning :)
Another beautiful day, and absolutely freezing :D

Good to hear you have rain Ally, I dare say you need much more.
Bb is having the day off :D
It doesn't happen often, he's usually here part of the day but works six days a week.
There's a Christmas fair at a lovely old mill just outside of the town so we're going to that. I went last year and it was really good but heaving, so we're going to get there before it starts to have a chance of parking.

Then to the two garden centres, both have good stuff in apparently, and we still want some lights for the window.
There will be a coffee break at one of those, and Bb is buying me lunch, either at the other one or somewhere else :)

Hope Saundra is feeling better xx
Have a good day all

Morning everyone

We had a lot of rain last night :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: So much so, the pool is a couple of squares higher  :Hi: :Hi: And more to come today :D :D :D

Normally go food shopping on Wednesday, but will wait until tomorrow, when it's dry, as I have a little bit of being here and there in Ourique and don't want to get wet ;) I have a small amount of ironing, so will get that out of the way.

Also Antonia will ring later, she took Pieter down to the skin doctor yesterday, as it looks like he has a skin cancer and she's also got news about a modelling job.

And today is B day. I'll be allowed - at last - to take the bandage of that cut on Grumpy's hand. He hasn't let me near it

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Lovely to have it all organised Ally :D Enjoy your day pootling :)

Di your day sounds perfect!! :Hi: :Hi:

Morning cruiser :)

We have the same weather again Jo ;)

Hope you're feeling better Saundra (((x))

Well, thick frost and blazing sunshine here! We were woken by the phone at 7am  It was poor Becky, sat frozen at the bus stop - they'd cut out two buses (she has the Stagecoach app, so can check) and was going to be very late for work :? Mick, bless his heart, jumped out of bed and gave her a lift <3 Hope they are running better later as I'm meeting my friend A in the Quays for a cuppa at 10.30, although I might just walk ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Enjoy your rain, Ally and Jan. It's freezing here too in deepest W Yorks, Di and Cruiser. That was good of Mick Kaz; no fun standing freezing at a bus stop and no bus in sight.
Enjoy your walks will Billy, Jo.

Shopping today and a bit of dog sitting. I hope you are a bit better today Saundra.

Morning all - nippy here this morning but tomorrow it's going to be even colder; may actually put the jimjam's on the car tonight. But by the time I take them off and hang up to dry out throughout the day I may as well just sit in the car with a cuppa whilst it warms up :D

Di, your day sounds absolutely perfect... I'm having garden centre withdrawals, but the next few weekends are mad busy with birthday party prep and mom coming to visit for Christmas prep. So I'll be catching up on that with mom once she's here

Jan and Ally, yay on the rain - very much needed. Jan has the dam level come up a bit at least?
Saundra, hope you're feeling better
Poor Becks Kaz, sitting in the cold waiting for non-existent busses isn't fun. Thank goodness for Mick
Jo, Cruiser and Crommers, enjoy your days pootling, shopping

Usual / usual for me again

Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy whatever it is you're up to, stay warm x
