Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 05 Dec 2017, 05:54

Good morning.

Sunshine and clear skies forecast. 8-)

I'm meeting a work colleague for breakfast and then we're walking up to Guzman's garden centre where every year they have a fantastic display for xmas. ;)

Work 4 - 9 then meeting Don for a couple of beers and a bite to eat as I'm off work now till next Monday thanks to Spain's crazy holiday system. :x

I'll watch the A Word on catch up. :)

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally and all, I think we're forecast a dry day today. We can hope anyway. Off for a walk in a minute.

I'm on day 2 of waiting for the parcels which should've been here yesterday. The Royal Mail ones are finally in the area and are apparently being delivered today but the DPD tracker still says that parcel is on the way to the Smethwick depot and has been saying that for 24 hours now so it's anyone's guess what's going on with that.

I'll finish wrapping presents today. Billy had an exciting time last night - Santa visited! I was making a cuppa and he came running into the kitchen to me, very excitedly, and ran straight back to the front window. I followed and saw that the Round Table sleigh was just coming around the corner so he stood in the window watching that while it was on the close, he seems to enjoy seeing that every year

Have a good day all!

I hope the appointment goes well Di xx
It's frustrating when they're that sort of time, you feel like you're clock watching and waiting around all day.

Just back with Billy so the wait begins...
It was lovely out this morning - no fog for a change!

Morning everyone

Gorgeously sunny morning - but cold

Bonfire for us today :D We have a huge pile of garden rubbish, so I'll ring the bombeiros later, to let them know.

And it's hair cut for me. Gez originally said 11.00, which normally means 11.30 :o then said 10.30 when I saw her yesterday. So anytime between 10.00 and 12.00 then

Hope the rest of the parcels arrive Jo x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

Ally enjoy the Christmas display - I do love this time of year when all the houses put up their decorations and everything is just that bit more cheerful
Jo, awww at Billy; how cute is he :D. Hope your parcels do arrive today; funny about DPD as they 're meant to be really good and reliable giving 1 hour delivery slots etc :o
Jan, hopefully Gez will turn up sooner rather than later, but at least you'll be home and pootle about until she does get there
Di, good luck for your appointment; I agree 5.30 is rather very late esp as you'll have to contend with rush-hour traffic now; not good

Well usual work day for me then home to box up two hedgehogs and take them to Wildlife Aid - they're starting to cost me a fortune because I make a donation every time I take one in. But hey; they're worth it and I love having them about.

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Well it looks dry here, no sun but dry will do ;) Out to see D in a while, then home later to write my cards as I managed to get some Christmas stamps yesterday! I queued for nearly 20 minutes in the PO but at least it's done :?

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, got back yesterday from our weekend, but I didn't get around to posting. We were both fairly tired, and I slept for 8 1/2 hours last night! We had a lovely time with lots of dancing. It's a nice day today and not too cold. Today I need to review the presents already bought and see what I have for whom, and also I need to have a look on the card list, although I don't think I can cut it back much more than I did last year. There is also the inevitable pile of ironing awaiting my attention

Oooh the Christmas smilies....thank you Kaz!!

Morning all :)

Late up again, good excuse today though, feeling decidedly icky. It came on yesterday afternoon, not sure what caused it, sticking to dry toast, avoiding dairy and hoping it clears.

Hope your appointment goes well Di xx

Feeling very organised this year, presents all bought, cards posted yesterday and the house decorated. Bound to have forgotten something, but overall not bad.

Have a good day :)
