Everywhere is covered in snow and it's still coming down John was out last night so Billy had a long late walk to meet him off the five past Midnight bus down at the station. It was dry then but bitterly cold and windy.

Joe's in college all day today and John's using another day's holiday, Tom's back at lunchtime. I've got a couple of Amazon parcels being delivered too, or they should be anyway.

Art has finished till the new year.
Some of us were going to G's for coffee and mince pies but she has an awful cold so it's postponed.

Bb is working locally and has a gap between appointments, so we're going shopping together for Christmas treats.

Well it's really cold this morning, we might get snow later, but as we're in the Severn Valley here we might not Fingers crossed! Food shopping with D later this morning, then a good hoover and clean round before we put the tree up this weekend

Morning. Sunny but blinking cold here. The sun has been up for a while but the car roof is still iced over. We are off soon to get some prescriptions and then need to buy some bird seed. The birds are going mad for it today and we have none left.

Morning all, sunny but cold here, and no snow - we don't often get snow here by the sea. Off to the gym shortly. I was having a problem getting through to a restaurant yesterday, wanted to make a reservation for lunch with my schoolfriends next Tuesday. Phoned and emailed yesterday with no reply but got through on the phone this morning. I've also been trying to get a particular dress and wasn't sure if the usual shop still stocks the label, but a phone call confirmed it does, so I might pop out there early this afternoon. We are going dancing this evening, but if the roads get very icy, might think again. It is bad enough driving in the dark but I thoroughly dislike driving on icy roads. Had a lovely lunch out with the gym ladies yesterday, so I had better go and work it off now!

Always good to get a voucher Di. I put an online order in with Sainsburys yesterday, they sent me a voucher for £10 if I spent £50, too good to miss.

E's feeling lots better today we'll be going shopping later. I've been doing my best to stop him attempting too much, but he's a nightmare. I know he worries about me overdoing it, but as I've been telling him, we're both stuffed if he goes down. Yesterday definitely made him stop and think so fingers crossed........
