Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 09 Dec 2017, 07:07

Morning everyone

Just getting light, a little wind and not so warm yet.

Molly anted to go out at 5.30 this morning and then, of course, I couldn't go back to sleep

Will do my domestic goddess stuff this morning an if the sun is out, I'll do some washing too.

Off to Antonia's for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Jan and all!

We've had more snow overnight. Tom made it home okay from work last night but he said that the estate roads were treacherous. I'll start worrying again shortly as he has an early start today so wants to drive again!

Joe's off to Birmingham with his friends at lunchtime and I need to call in to see my parents. Tom's having dinner with us before going back to Wolverhampton so I'm doing a gammon joint with parsley sauce.

Enjoy dinner Jan - do you know what you're having?

Have a good day all!

What a frost we have here--it looks so pretty. It is so cold that the heating
came on in the night.
Will get some spare bread and some milk in case we get the snow that is
forecast. We live on the top of a steep hill and now i am ancient i can`t
manage to walk it if it is slippery underfoot.
I think i might go mad and do a Waitrose order for delivery next week.
I have money off coupons, it would save me the hassle and i do like their
food. I think i have talked myself into it!!!!
Have a good day and take care all.

Morning :)
Very cold here - Minnie's bucket is iced over - but no snow.
Just seen the forecast and for tomorrow and Monday we're due rain!

Good plan Lissie, to be prepared :)

Bb will be working today. I might go to the market, will see how I feel.
Also plan to write our cards.
Pizza and Strictly tonight :)

Thinking of Ally, hope she has a warm coat by now.
Enjoy your dinner Ton.
Hope everyone has a good day

Good morning.

Thanks Di...I went into Erdington at 8am as there is a street market and bought myself a nice 3/4 length coat.

There was a flurry of snow...very pretty...but I've got a woollen dress on and with me new coat I'll be fine. Sharon has lent me a pair of gloves.

We're out and about all day then off to Mosely around 7 to meet up with a load of friends.

A curry at a local late night restaurant is on the cards. :x

It is really nice to be here amongst dear friends.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all. We've been up to daughter's house so MrsC can walk the idiot dog ( he's not really an idiot but he is very enthusiastic), got the papers and now MrsC has gone to her dad's house to give him his watch with new battery. I've just fed the birds but I don't think much else will be achieved today apart from getting some essentials in - like crisps.

Don't worry too much about Tom Jo, he has to learn and I'm sure he's sensible.

Keep warm and safe everyone.

Morning all........well almost

E tells me we had frost early this morning, but the sun's shining brightly now.

Good plan Lissie, I've been stocking up with essentials too. We did a good shop yesterday, it was so nice to get out, first time this week :D It did make us think though, not just because of the weather, but if E's having a really bad day we're housebound. We've got a Sainsburys delivery due Tuesday, sensible to have plenty in the cupboard and freezer just in case.

Glad you have a coat Ally, you'll definitely need it this visit.

No plans for today, got the washing on and that's about it.

Have a good day and stay warm :)
