Yes they want him back at the hospital on Monday, when all being well he'll be swapping jabs for pills. Blood thinners I should imagine.

Thanks everyone for the support, I was a bit shaken! xxx

Sorry not online yesterday so only catching up now. (((hugs))) Kaz, what a worry that must have been for you yesterday and huge relief to know he's done his first one and should be OK going forwards. As Saundra says, sounds very much like the click system used by diabetics now; I have two friends that use them without any issue so I'm sure Chris will be fine.

And remember (OK maybe not during working hours), Chris is no more than 1/2 hour from me so I'm happy to help if needed x

My friend had to give herself those injections following her foot operation.

I am glad C has managed to do it with you as witness.

I dont think DVT's worry them like they used to, now they have so much more in the way of blood thinning treatment

I think you must be right Shell. He seems much happier today, and I've not long got off the phone while he did his second jab :)

Thank you all for the support, I do really appreciate it! ;) ;)

Not spoken since last night Jo, his best mate James was going round this morning, so I said I'd ring him tonight. Will update then :)
