Morning Wednesday

Postby jenniren » 13 Dec 2017, 08:01

Morning all :)

Wet and miserable here.

Up really early, getting ready for the hospital. I've got Joint School (that's what they call it) from 9.30-12, not sure why it takes that long, but E has to be there as my 'coach'. It's to prepare me for the 12 weeks or so after the op. Then at 1pm I'm booked in for the pre op, so that's pretty much most of the day taken up. Mr Syed said I'll be having another xray, keeping fingers crossed there's not too much more damage and it's still okay to go ahead.

Have a good day :)

Good Morning all,
Dull and wet here but no snow.
Our baby has`nt made her appearance yet. I reckon
she is nice and comfortable in the warm.
Got to go out and get the stamps to post the cards today.
I will then go through to M&S and Aldis.
Have a good day and stay warm and good luck Jen :D

Morning Jen, morning all :)
Dark and raining.

Good luck with joint school Jen, I'm sure it will come in useful.
Our neighbour had both hips done one after the other and has been fit enough since to cope with Tigger, his energetic labrador. He got the puppy after the second operation.

Nothing on for me today, except an Avon delivery, hadn't had a rep for years :)

Hope Joe is doing well x

Have a good day whatever you're up to

Morning everyone

Bright and sunny here, but a tad chilly.

Joint school? Berlimey, haven't things changed. Good luck with it Jen, and the pre-op.

After a lovely jolly yesterday, we're off on another one today    off to Odemira, not one of my favourite towns, but they have an Aldi and a Lidl. So that's the plan for today, after a proper cooked breakfast of bacon, sausages, eggs and fried bread :Hi: :Hi:

Hope Joe had a good night x

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all,

Babies are on their own clock lisse. All we can do is wait for them.
Good luck with the school jen

I was up early for an 7am meeting with the team in Kuala Lumpur and was intending to take the dogs out to spare Mrs S the job before my next meeting. However it's chucking it down again. So that will have to wait.

Work is still hell but now with the added pain that I'm at home and every time they drag me into a meeting when I was supposed to be free, Mrs S goes off on one ranting about how it would be better if I hadn't bothered coming home.

On the + side I've lost 10lb in weight since Saturday morning. Although that just makes me wildly overweight instead of outrageously overweight. When pressured I eat and I've been pressured, to a very high degree, for the last 4 months.

The motivation for which was not helped by your breakfast pans Jan... :) :)

At least it's raining. That means it can't freeze. Of course it froze before I drained the pool filtration system and the garden well pump... Such is life.

Have a great day all.

Good luck Jen; I hope Joe is OK too. Breakfast of champions Jan! Well done on the weight loss Suff, excellent. Hope you will be under less pressure soon.

Going shopping soon for food and some Christmas bits. It has rained overnight and all the ice has gone. Have a good day all.

Morning all!

Thinking of Jo and Joe today (((((x)))))

Good luck at joint school, and with the pre-op Jen ;) ;)

Lissie that baby is all tucked up in the warm ;) Be careful out and about! Mick slipped in the car park yesterday, but luckily just slid onto his bottom, no harm done except to his dignity

Di we had an Avon rep here, but not for years! Mostly moved online I suppose :? What did you get? 8-) ;)

That would last me all day, Jan!  :Hi:

Suff that's a big loss! Hope things get a bit less frantic for you soon!

Most of the snow and ice have gone here! 8-) Not sure what I'm doing yet, apart from ringing Chris. B has gone back to work after two days off with a shocking sore throat and cough! Mick has gone to the telephone exchange again, as the engineer is still rebuilding his laptop.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all, it's a bit milder here today and some of the snow has gone. The roads and paths still don't look too brilliant though.

Just waiting around today really to see what's going on with Joe. Really could do with going food shopping though.

I've updated the other thread about Joe, he's had a good night :)

I'm wondering what to do about a parcel. I ordered something from the Body Shop last week and had an email yesterday morning from Royal Mail saying that they'd attempt delivery yesterday. There was no card when we came back from the hospital last night so I checked the tracking and it said that it's being held at the delivery office on the recipient's instructions. I haven't made any delivery instructions and can't even see a way of doing so. There's only a general 0345 number to call and I don't really fancy my chances of getting through to speak to someone easily at this time of year. Might have to brace myself and brave a visit to the sorting office.

Di, my Avon is due tomorrow - can't remember what I ordered now though

Hope the hospital visit goes well Jen!

Have a good day all!

Kaz I like their skin so soft dry oil spray.
Last time I bought it online, when on half price and free delivery if you spent £10, so I bought six bottles!

Now they only seem to do free delivery offers if you spend £20 :o
A local fb post appeared from someone just starting in this area so I phoned her. The spray was on half price (£2.50) or two for £4, so I ordered four :)

I love it, a quick spray and rub in all over and you're done :) I use richer stuff after once a week or so, my skin is quite dry but this works fine :)

Ps Jo the 02 2018 book has denim jeggings for £9.95 so I'm ordering some, even if they're only good enough to wear at home.
