Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 15 Dec 2017, 06:26

Good morning.

We are in Birmingham....great flight over yesterday and got a taxi to the rented house.

It's absolutely beautiful. Craig drove over and after unpacking we all headed off to the local pub (can't believe how much snow is still around) and had a couple of beers. We picked up a Chinese takeaway and brought it back.

Don and I both woke early....

The funeral is at 10am with a service at Robin Hood crematorium at 11.

On to Scanlon's afterwards where a buffet and drinks has been arranged.

We'll see what the day brings but at least us five are together.

Morning Ally, morning all :)
Dark, dull and windy out there.

No art, all finished till January.
The pop-up farm shop is open today and tomorrow, with extra goodies, so I shall go an see. Last year they had some yummy local cheeses :)

The boys and Bb's mum and dad are coming on boxing day, we have yet to decide what food we're doing.

I hope it all goes well Ally, will be thinking of you xx

Hope everyone has a good day

Morning Ally, Di and everyone

Brightening up, but more wet stuff to come :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Hope all goes as well as it can Ally xx Will be thinking of you all x

Off to Ourique later, to get more netting to protect the new veggies, drop off some dry cleaning and have a look in the Chinese, for plates and a new roasting tin. Also need to get the powder for Grumpy's inhaler.

The ground is too wet for weeding and I need to have a think about how and where to put a path (s) in. I know what I'd like, which is not what Grumpy wants     so will have to have another think :)

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all
Ally, thinking of you all and hope the day goes as well as they could be (((hugs)))
Kaz, tons of vibes for D; and Di is spot on; it's a fab Christmas present to be having
Jo, adding my ongoing get well and hope Joe is home soon wishes to the others x

Di, the pop up sounds like good fun - we have a regular 'pop-up' food market by the South Bank but it's stupidly expensive unfortunately; so I have a mooch about some times but never buy anything

Well, after a VERY hectic week it's back to the usual/usual for me - and oh my I'm enjoying that. My birthday party is now over, the office Christmas party is done so no more planning required for anything. The office party was on Wednesday so yesterday was a relatively early night in bed but it's now back to normal and fun stuff vs having to plan and worry etc.

Have a lovely day everyone, stay warm / dry etc xxx
