I'm rather gobsmacked that the hospital would close on Thursday for the week-end.

What happens to the doctors and nurses?

What on earth is happening over there???

10.25 and we're still here waiting for the transport. One of the nurses just bought us some sandwiches, crisps, biscuits and tea though which was very much needed and appreciated, bless her!

He finally got to Stoke just before Midnight. He seems in good spirits this morning but he's bored and has been texting me random things since 8 - did you know that the house from Drake and Josh is for sale? I didn't either but he sent me the link to the estate agent listing (quite fancy living in Encino). It sounds like he's got his appetite back too. He's still waiting to see a doctor there though.

Gosh that's late Jo - and boredom is a good sign. Any chance he may be able to come home today? Do they do discharging on a weekend?

Should add though that with the bed situation there I wouldn't think they'd put a stop on discharges over the weekend and keep people there unnecessarily when there's such a shortage.
