Not only that, I was a twin but being a greedy so and so, I was the larger and she died a couple of weeks later. What is so sad, my mum didn't know until she gave birth to my brother, 15 months later and my dad asked about the multiple birth on her chart

It's awful how women used to be treated in childbirth Jan. When my mum lost her first child (she would have been a year older than me) she was still born, but they wouldn't let my mum see her. They told her to forget, and just have another baby - that was me!
