Good morning.

Blue skies and sunshine forecast. 8-) 8-)

I'm going to put our tree up this morning...at last I have some time!

I'll walk into town before 1pm to catch the post and get my cards sent off...I'm so late with everything this year. :o

Work 6 - 9 then meeting David for a couple of beers and to discuss operation Switzerland which is booked for next August. :x :x

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning all :)
Dark still, and haven't seen the forecast yet.
Did our tree yesterday :)

Out for coffee at a friend's this morning, I think several of the ladies from yoga are going, best write some cards.
Then to the hospital for blood of course, it being a week since last time

Depending on waiting time, might go to Tesco to see if they have any decent pieces of gammon.

Details soon please Ally, of operation Switzerland :)
Hope you all have a good day
x

Good morning Ally and Di and all!

It's foggy here. I've walked Billy and it's horrible, still icy with a layer of yesterday's rainwater lying on top of it. Off to the doctors now with Joe to have his wounds checked by the nurse, as directed by the hospital.

Back shortly!

Morning everyone

Frosty start, but the sun is out, so will soon be gone.

Good luck with the bloods Di and to Joe too xx

Operation stone moving for me. I want/need a couple of paths, through the garden. Fed up with walking on wet soil and grass/weeds  So that means many barrow loads of stones will have to be brought up from the field. So that's me sorted for the day.

Off to the Palma for dinner tonight. Not been out for dinner since Grumpy hurt his hand.

Switzerland Ally? Them's some gert mountains there

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.
It is foggy. Have been for the paper. Will go shopping later.
Had a lie in this morning as I was out early yesterday. I was helping to greet passengers going on the Santa Special at a local railway. I was there at 8.00 a.m and the first passengers arrived at 8.20 for the first train which left at 9.10 a.m. I left at 3.00 p.m and there were still two trains to go.
I may go again on Friday. It is a long day but very enjoyable. The adults seem to enjoy it as much as the chidren.
Have a good day everybody

Good Morning all,
It is nice and dry and a bit milder today so far.
Got up early to put the bins and cardboard out as the Dustmen are
keeping us on our toes by altering their collection time every week.
It ranges from 7am to 5pm so you have to be ready.
Going to Aldis later for drinks and bits and pieces.
I am ordering a small rib of beef for Christmas day as there will only be
the two of us so may as well treat ourselves. :D
Don told me to choose something i fancied so i ordered a bracelet online
yesterday and just got an email to say it is on it`s way.
Have a good day.

Morning all :)

Ooh enjoy planning the new adventure Ally :)

Have a nice coffee time with the yoga ladies Di, I must say my Saturday night out with my Pilates friends was excellent. You meet some nice people doing these activities ;)

Hope Joe's check-up goes well Jo xx

Don't overdo the stone moving Jan! Sounds like heavy work xx

That does sound enjoyable Cruiser :)

Well, it's Monday, and the last WW meeting until January. I'll still be attending, despite gaining my goal last week, as I help out, and anyway Gold Members can attend for free, to keep a check on things  ;) No zumba tonight, there is a two week break over Christmas and New Year.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

I won't and it is :o :o

But it's not something Grumpy can do any more, so it's down to me. He might be able to do one or two loads, but that will probably finish him off

Is it today you take your mince pies in Kaz?

Take it easy Jan!

Joe's appointment went well, the nurse removed the dressings and said there's no need for him to have any on now which he's pleased about. He needs a blood test next week though and I'm going round in circles trying to get the info from the hospital as to when the walk in bloods clinic is open over Christmas. It can't be done at the GPs as they're part of the Wolverhampton health trust which doesn't pass results onto Staffordshire.
