Work 4 - 9 then Boss Lady is taking us all to Mama Lucia's for our staff Christmas dinner. Great food, great company, Secret Santa and the fact I'll be off till 8th January...what's not to high kick about.

Getting light, cars are frosted, should be another nice day.

Shopping for me today, things that have a long enough date.
We're going out tonight too, dinner at friends, with a bonus as it's the friends with a puppy

Morning all,
It is so cold and frosty here this morning.
Woke early so decided to get up. Heating is due to go on any minute now.
Going to my usual haunts this morning--Aldis, M&S and Home Bargains.
Makes shopping easy as i can get everything i need in these shops and free parking
as well
Two grand daughters and daughter are coming to see us on Saturday morning bringing
(as Beckie put it) presents and good cheer!
Son and family are coming on Friday for Christmas dinner and present giving.
After that it is just the two of us over Christmas. I do miss the family get to gethers
we had in the past but unfortunately they have all gone their seperate ways and don`t
see each other any more. A stupid family feud that should have been sorted ages ago but
doubt if it will ever now.

A slight frost earlier, but that's gone already.

Washing out - the machine load I forgot about yesterday and two more loads following.

Will finish off the last path today and we'll get the gravel in the new year. Will also need Aung, to spread it about. I can't and I won't let Grumpy do it.

Lissie, that's a shame about the feud. We had a long running one in our family, between two of my aunties (Aunty D and Aunty M) and it made get togethers very difficult. Apparently it stems back to childhood with the Aunty D always picking arguments, all down to jealousy I think as Aunty M is the youngest. She even boycotted my Christening! My parents had chosen Aunty M and her husband to be my Godparents and she kicked off about that which is ridiculous as she and her husband were already my sister's Godparents!

Ho my post disappeared my boys are the same lissie haven't seen each other for years met again for there dad's funeral then the year after on his aniversay but that was 6yrs ago I just leave them to it the daft thing is they are friends on f/b they have never met Scarlett but I get more visits so it's Scarlett on Thursday ad darren boxing day

Mick and his middle brother don't really get on. They are civil in company these days, after their big bust up at the other brother's wedding in Cyprus, but once D is gone I can't see them making much effort
