Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 20 Dec 2017, 05:39

Good morning.

Tis the first day of me 'ollibobs and the forecast looks lovely. 8-) 8-)

I'm off for a nice long walk then back to luxuriate in doing absolutely nothing but reading and watching the previous 2 episodes of Peaky Blinders before tonight's final episode. All that and Masterchef too. :)

I feel I've been on a treadmill non-stop the past few weeks so I'm really looking forward to 3 weeks of bliss. 8-) 8-)

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally and all. It's another dry one here so I'll walk Billy in a minute.

I need to pop into town when I get back. Tom's driving to Wales this afternoon, Shannon's going with him and is driving over and leaving her car here at lunchtime. They'll be back sometime tomorrow.

Enjoy a relaxing day Ally!

Have a good day all :)

Morning :)
Dry but dull here.

Ally a proper wind down will do you the world of good xx
There is nothing on our calendar for today, apart from a reminder to take my weekly drug, which is very strange!

We do have plans to go to w/rose though. Yesterday I did Tesco, but several things on my list were too short-dated. Still, a few more bits we won't need to get at the weekend :)
Once it gets near Christmas I have trouble thinking of ordinary dinners...just remembered a chilli in the freezer :)

Hope you all have a good day

Morning all :)

Ally some relaxing time will do you the world of good ;) xxx

Di, I'm the same near Christmas :o I cleaned my oven last night (shelves in one of those bag things overnight) then suddenly realised I wouldn't be able to use it  Hence the spicy mince and rice, all cooked on the hob :? :x

Jo I hope T and S have a nice time in Wales :) How's Joe doing?

Well I have a busy, busy day! Meeting my friend Alison for a cuppa at 10.30, then possibly going into town with B, depending on how she feels (she went to the doc's yesterday as she has had a cough/sore throat for ages) then at 5pm Mick and I are going to Cheltenham with D to her follow-up appointment for her op last week! It's a bit blurry so she's concerned about it.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Gorgeously sunny morning, frost already gone.

Grumpy will be finishing off the final path outline, my knees and back have told me to have a rest today   so I'll just be doing the prep for Sonia and her English Christmas dinner. Will take that to her this afternoon and do the final shop before next Monday - something going on, not sure what 8-)

Will have a pit-stop at the bar on our way home.

Ally, just enjoy doing nowt :D :D

Safe journey to the travellers Jo and hope Joe is continuing to feel good x.

And D Kaz, hope all goes well this afternoon x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

Ally, enjoy the holidays; your life really has been a whirlwind
Kaz, what a worry for D; I hope she can get some reassurance this evening
Jo and Di, enjoy your days pootling and shopping
Jan, definitely take it easy and enjoy the day

Well hopefully life will now return to it's normal pace for me; most of this month has been a rather busy one what with birthday party prep, then the actual party, office Christmas party prep and party and then getting ready for bosses to go on their annual leave - I feel like I've had little time for myself. My house is a mess, no Christmas decorations up yet and no Christmas mojo. But hopefully I'll get a start this evening

Mom was meant to be arriving this evening, instead she is having her surgery - not sure how long it'll take, but she was scheduled for 8am their time this morning so hopefully by now it's over and done with. She'll be kept in ICU for 2 days before being transferred back to her room. She'll then stay in hospital until either 2nd or 3rd January. The advantage of having a cousin so senior in the hospital is that all has been arranged super well and super quick. She probably could have come home sooner, but as he rightly pointed out what with all the bank holidays this time of year - if there was an emergency / issue then she'd be in for a long wait - so may as well stay where she'll be well looked after until she's ready to come home. My sister will be going up to Mom's for the first January week and I'm on standby to go over the 2nd week if it's needed. Frank my brother will be notified by the hospital and will then let us know.

Thankfully a lovely quiet day at work so I can catch up on everything both work and on here and then have two more quiet days before the Christmas weekend.

have a lovely day all x

Morning all,
Been awake since 5am with stomach ache and feel yuck.
The baby is thriving and Klara says she is a milk monster.
I can`t help wishing they had chosen a different name as i
can`t warm to the name CiCi.
Still it is their choice not mine and i expect we will get used to
it. She is such a pretty little thing that a nice flowery or old fashioned
name would suit her.
Hope everyone is feeling good today.
