Well Harry is here already, Chris arrives Sunday, we'll be six on the Day as D is joining us :) I'll spend the morning swigging Bucks Fizz while slinging sprouts into the steamer, and swearing at the turkey  I've bought a new Monopoly set, with the original counters, to play after lunch, and in the evening I want to put my feet up and watch the telly 8-)

My sister and crew are coming on the 29th (Friday), I'll probably make my chicken provencale, we'll do something nice on the Saturday, then they'll go either late on Saturday or Sunday morning :)

We also made a loose arrangement to go out with Emma and Dave at some point over the holidays, but that's a variable ;)

As I have mentioned a bit... We head for Switzerland today for the Luaterbrunnen valley. We have a Chalet there for a week.

Over Christmas we intend to have a lazy time and go and visit a few places. Grindlewald for a view of the north face of the Eiger. The Schilthorn restaurant (James Bond), for at least one trip. I'd like to take the railway to the JungfrauJoch and view the Glaciers and eat at the restaurant there but it will depend on the weather.

We're going to try and find a good Fondu house too as a good Swiss Fondu is increedible. But it needs to be a specialist one.

We're goingt to visit the Trummelbach falls too and, genearlly, do some walking, shopping and wandering about. We'll probably head to Lausanne at some time too, but nothing fixed. I guess it will depend on how much is drunk the night before..

Today: Going to Kellie's playschool concert this morning, preparing for cuteness overload :D Tonight myself and my sister are going to see Imelda May in concert.

Saturday: The turkey has to be collected early, then we will go into town to soak up some atmosphere, and have lunch.

Christmas Eve: The day will be spent prepping food and cleaning the house.

Christmas Day: Everyone is coming here for Christmas dinner, Miss Osc and family plus my sister. It should be fun, Miss Osc bought a Pin the Carrot on the Snowman game

The days thereafter: Whatever we fancy :x

Christmas in Switzerland sounds incredible!

Jo I was going to buy some Baileys, as it's D's fave tipple, but she's on antibiotics (not related to her eye op) so can't drink!

That's a shame! She'll have to have a bottle when she's finished the course!

The market wasn't bad at all tonight, we'd been dreading the drive in but the roads were fine although we avoided the M6 and went the Walsall/Great Barr/Newtown way.

John and Joe had burger, fried potatoes and mushrooms off the market - £8 each for a really small portion! I had an egg mayo sandwich from Greggs :D
