This is a day of 'meets'.

10am I'm meeting Amanda, one of my work colleagues. She whatsapped me last night and asked if I fancied meeting in the plaza for a coffee and a pitufo.

Don and I are driving over to Conor & Lucia's around 1ish to meet up with them, have a walk along the coast and then lunch at a chiringuito.

Tonight I'm meeting David for a couple of beers and to discuss Operation Switzerland.

Still dark, but the forecast is good.

Been awake for hours, listening to the snorers so have been reading in the spare room.

Busy day ahead, a stack of ironing to get through, clean the house, cook dinner and then meet friends at the bar at 3.00.

Also need to pop into Antonia's, to drop off the heavy secret santa pressies and some beer for tomorrow.

Jan yours not so, but then I spent a lot of years doing Christmas eve, Christmas day, and boxing day for variations of between four and fourteen people, so I really enjoy our relaxed Christmases now.

Didn't get the bedding washed yesterday, but that's the only job for today

We've just got back from a shopping trip to town and come back loaded up with goodies.
I've never seen M&S so crowded. It was hard to move about, and there were long queues for the tills.
But we're stocked up now.

Two loads of washing are out, John walked Billy while I sorted that and popped over to the Co Op to see if I could get a cabbage (no). Next thing, after I've dried my hair, is to deliver some family presents.

Morning all. An unusual morning as I decided to go to Sainsbury's at 7.00am to beat the rush. The place was busy!
The lady on the till said when she arrived for her shift at 5.40am ready for opening at 6, people were queueing at the doors!

We've all gone mad!

Still. all the shopping is done now. G and T's today and a lot of TV watching.

Morning all

Bit dull and overcast here.

Good luck to any of you out in the chaos today, so glad we've done it all. Hard enough E getting me around in the chair at the best of times, it would be a nightmare in all the rush. Being truly disabled and in a chair all the time must be awful, it's been a bit of an eye opener for me, I'm truly shocked at how rude some people are.

Having a nice easy day, need to whiz round the house and than everything's done, tomorrow we go into holiday mode.
