Happy Christmas! Soon we will be going up to daughter's for Christmas dinner. Daughter's father in law will be there. He tends to get excited and a bit loud, as in he never shuts up. MrsC has given me the Scarborough warning - no eye rolling and no muttering "For God's sake" sotto voice.

Dobby the dog is very excited, he has been bought a squeaky Santa toy and a set of new tennis balls!

We have had a lovely day so far, hope you all have too.

Merry Christmas all. We went to Grindlewald and wandered around the shops. Bought some bum board sledges and had hot chocolate. Came back to the chalet and headed out sledging.

Now we're back, warm, dry and Christmas dinner will be in about 2 hours.

I've managed to get around the BBC and so we will see the Strictly Christmas special tonight.

An evening of movies, TV and games tonight.

The only off tone is that I forgot to take my mobile out of my pocket when we went sledging and I think it's borked...

Have a great evening..

Good afternoon all and Happy Christmas!

The boys have just gone for a drive, to listen to music I think, and me and John are just having a cup of tea. We'll have a carpet picnic when they get back.

Both lads were up by 9 and did well for presents and money. John did well too. Over the past few months I've subtly mentioned to anyone who buys for me that I'm no longer eating chocolate....so my present pile consisted mainly of boxes of chocolates :o My parents offer me chocolate every time I see them and I always decline and say I don't eat it but they've still bought me a large box of Lindor  Even Tom bought me a large box of Thorntons! John will need to do a lot of cycling to burn off the extra calories from all of the chocolate that he's got to eat!

Enjoy the evening everyone!

We've had such a lovely day! I haven't really stopped all day, so I'm tired but very content. Lunch was at 2, followed by a fun game of Monopoly! B won, with H a close second ;)

D went home at about 5.30 and I managed to catch Dr Who 8-) Mick loaded the dishwasher, and washed the glasses, and we are all far too stuffed to eat tea! :? :x

Perfect day!

Jo that's funny, about the chocs! B knows I only ever use the purest, blandest of toiletries because of my skin problems, but still got me some Body Shop smellies :? In her defence she did get me the nicest Ted Baker make-up bag, and gorgeous warm socks, but honestly.....  :?

Crommers are you on the naughty step yet?? 8-)

You know I was hoping for some lovely toiletries, I actually ran out of body lotion two days ago and found a small travel sized one in my holiday toiletry bag so thought I'd use that until I got some for Christmas...because there's always a gift of body lotion or body butter isn't there.
Nope! Not this year

I reckon he's there until New Year

John said I reminded him of someone famous.
