Not a chance Saundra.

And the year after that, we're going to Jan and Joachim's :D :D

Good morning all.

It's dry and sunny here now, but there's a cold wind, as we found out on our morning walk.

We're having a quiet day today.

Hope you all enjoyed Christmas Day, and will have a happy Boxing Day too.

Morning (just) all.. it's nearly midday and I've had the laziest start to the day; now sitting here bacon buttie and coffee being consumed and still in my jimjams - I only got up just before 10am - oops

Jan, glad yesterday went well
Saundra, Di and Jen, enjoy the family visiting

Well, that's another Christmas over and done with - I had a lovely time with Karl and Nadine and the kids; it was the 2nd year now that it was just us.

Today will be a pootle at home day and catch up on domestic things that I haven't had time for these past few day. Tomorrow we head to Reading to collect Nadine's cousin; so on the way there we're popping into a garden centre to see what they have on sale and then on the way back we're going to head to Ikea and Dunelm as we're going right past there - no doubt all three will be busy but hey.

Have a lovely day all xxx

Good afternoon all, it's a lovely sunny day but bitterly cold.

We're just back from a long and soggy walk, we had a lot of rain last night. Just having coffee now before thinking about lunch. Think I'll do Chinese rice and chicken in the Instant Pot. We actually all thought that we were going to my parents for a buffet lunch today, as is usual on Boxing Day along with my sister and Roger, but it seems we're not now  Just as we were leaving on Saturday, Mom shouted out onto the drive that J and R were going to stay for Christmas dinner seeing as they would be visiting on the morning anyway (they come over early as Roger's son, wife and toddler grandchildren live around here). Thought nothing more of it, spoke to her yesterday morning and I forgot to ask what time they wanted us there so I called again last night. I asked what the plans were for today and she said "Ermmm...we're just going to have a quiet day watching TV" I didn't think I should mention lunch as I didn't want to put her and Dad in a panic about having to quickly rustle something up so said we'd call around sometime this afternoon which she said would be lovely!

Yesterday was lovely, we abandoned the TV and listened to music instead while all playing cards.

Have a good day all!

Afternoon team! Just about recovered from yesterday now. A very quiet day lies ahead. We've recorded a couple of nice films and may watch those later on.

It rained a lot earlier but now it is clear but becoming very cold.

Only 364 shopping days to Christmas! :Hi:

Afternoon all, it's a lovely day here, sunny and cold. We got up at about our normal time and after breakfast, we did the residual clearing up from yesterday. Then we went for a long walk along the beach and back across the golf course. Now he is watching footie and there is nothing planned for the rest of the day except eating the leftovers :x

We had a gorgeous day yesterday - the dinner was delicious, everyone loved their presents, the children were in top form and we had great fun playing games after dinner. The house has a definite shine about it as I was wearing a glittery skirt, and Miss Osc a glittery dress  Definitely a day for the memory bank.
