Where DO they put it all?!!
I know we're used to it but still...
Rather large lunch with the beef, pork pie etc, and baguettes.
Bb's mum and dad left just before it got dark.
About an hour ago, mince pies, gingerbread whirls, and stollen.

The boys decided to stay, watch the film they bought Bb (War for the planet of the apes) and to eat with us.
Not yet lol, but we hadn't planned a proper dinner, so I guess we'll empty the fridge and work on it... :o  :)

I did a buffet tea for in the living room, I started carrying everything upstairs and went down to the kitchen for the last two things (a plate of turkey and ham and a tube of Pringles) and by the time I'd picked them up, walked through the hall and up the stairs, the majority of food I'd already brought up had gone!

:)
Oh yes they'd had Pringles too...
I did sandwiches to order, glad to say I got some beef (I had gammon and salad for lunch, plus a piece of pork pie of course).
There's no pud, so satsumas and chocolates I guess :)

Well, I'm stuffed, just can't eat what I used to - probably for the best

the diet starts tomorrow - also have a blood test to do, so the booze is also knocked on the head.

Edited to add - I'm just having a "small" glass of Carolans

We don't have small glasses in our house

Nothing like settling down for a nice quiet Boxing Day evening, only to get a telephone call that Master O and other half, far from coming down tomorrow, are already en-route and expected to arrive in the next couple of hours. :x

Cue mad panic ......

Oh blimey Ossie!

Boys now gone, no doubt will need a snack later :)

Jan I never could eat an awful lot, hate that feeling of being over stuffed.
I have to have a blood test every week, I never worry about alcohol, results are always perfect. If you were drinking enough for it to affect liver function you'd have more to worry about than a blood test.
Blood tests don't measure alcohol.
