Our hotel room in Nerja was beautiful...it had a right 1920's look about it.
In the bedroom on a dresser was a gorgeous blue china plate with a sort of squiggly design. I'd put my earrings on there and a necklace.
For some reason, on packing today, I picked up the earrings that I'd left last night beside the plate and didn't notice I'd left the necklace probably because of the design.
Tra la la....off we went to Conor & Lucia's then out for lunch on the beach.
I was right in the middle of my salmon when my mobile rang.....the cleaner had found my necklace and handed it in to the owner.
I obviously hadn't got home yet and so hadn't even noticed I'd left it.....I'm so glad as it was my Tiffany coffee bean necklace that Don bought me for my 50th birthday!!
I would have been so upset but thanks to this lady's kindness......
I hope she's still working there the next time we go back there so's I can give her a big hug!
