Better, thanks Jo. His leg and foot have gone down a lot, and he's tolerating the new tablets very well. Apparently they are a new drug, with far fewer potential sides effects than warfarin
Can't remember the name, but it's only been available for a few years. They put him on it, despite it being a lot more expensive than warfarin, as the alternative was to continue with the injections over Christmas (warfarin requires very careful monitoring at first) and they knew he hated them.
Joe wasn't keen on the injections either, he found them pretty easy at first but struggled with doing the last few. Thankfully he only had to do them for a week though.
Chris went back to work today He's a lot better, and was glad to get back to normal Still no side effects from the meds, thankfully, so hopefully there won't be now
