Greetings all

Lissie, I did the same - only got up about 9am; just so miserable out there. But there was a dry spell so I thankfully managed to clean cat mess in the garden; the rubbish is being collected tomorrow morning and I wanted to make sure I got the bag into the bin (the joys of having cats that can't roam; they mess in their own garden ;-) ) Rather miserable again now but I need to head to Tesco and the pet shop in a bit - so may as well get that done with sooner rather than later then i can get back home and relax

Kaz, hope you visitors have made it
Jan, I also saw the pictures on FB - wowzer, that is A LOT of gravel, but it'll look fab when it's all done

I had a fab day in Brighton yesterday; we were so lucky with the weather. Sadly didn't get into as many of the art galleries as hoped but hey - there will be other days.

Have a lovely day all; stay warm and dry - Ally, send some sunshine here please!

xx

Woke up to remnants of snow from Wednesday but it has been snowing heavily since 8am so we now have a thick cover! And it looks set for the rest of the day....I hate snow so I am anxious and grumpy. Will update re Charlie on 'his' thread shortly.

I very much doubt Tom will be at work till the end of the day, I think they'll get the service users home soon and then home themselves - hope so anyway, it doesn't look good out there!

I will be pulling on my wellies in a minute to walk the dogs in the snow, they'll enjoy that.

Afternoon all :)

We were rudely woken up by the phone just after 10am, it was the man coming to raise the bed. He said he would be here by 11am so panic, panic, getting showered and dressed to be ready for him. Sods law he didn't turn up until 11.30, but of course we didn't dare start breakfast until he arrived. Finally sat down

No plans today, I've got some washing on and that's about it.

Have a good day :)

Afternoon all, I'm late checking in today.

It's dry now after a very wet night. It was sunny for a time but it's very dreary again now. I walked into town earlier and despite the rain and slightly higher temperatures there was still thick ice on some paths, mostly where block paving has been used across the whole of the footpath at bus stops.

Tom's in work until 6.30pm so I'll make some chicken, veg and noodle soup in the Instant Pot for when he comes home.

Have a good day all!

Yes, they made it, and we've had a fabulous day! They've just gone to their hotel, but will be back after breakfast tomorrow :)

The food was a success 8-) ;) :)

Lovely Kaz....Don and I are back home now after a smashing evening with our chums.

And just saying how fab it was to see so much of Jacob & Conor (as indeed we'll do tomorrow and NYE)

So blessed with such nice lads. xxxxxxxxxx

It's really good to see that Ally, it must be lovely to have both there together again.

I feel the same with our lads, they're wonderful company. We've had some lovely times altogether over Christmas.
They take the mick out of me relentlessly though
