Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 30 Dec 2017, 06:13

Good morning.

Forecast nice again. 8-)

Making cottage pie for lunch today as requested by Conor who's coming over to watch the Old Firm game with us. Cue those two cheering for Celtic and lonesome me rooting for Rangers.

Out tonight for a couple of beers with some friends.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

We have fog :o  but that is supposed to clear and a lovely day is forecast.

Not sure what we'll be doing today. There is just a little bit of gravel left to move into the car port, the ground is too wet to weed.

Finishing off the last of the turkey in a curry tonight :D

Might pop down to the bar, might not. Won't, if I know Jan an Joachim re going to be there

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally, morning all :)
Dull and strong winds...storm Dylan, apparently.

Regardless of the weather we're going out, although it might be brief!
We need a few bits of shopping, and my White stuff order is ready for collection.

B is not well, so is not coming tomorrow in case of passing on bugs, which is a shame.

Hope you all have a good day

Weather a bit brighter now after a night when the wind has been blowing a gale.
Just going out to see if there has been any damage as the noise was awful.
My cold has come back with a vengeance--sore throat, cough, nose bleed--the lot.
Will have to venture out to get something for tonight and a joint for tomorrow and
have it cold on Monday.
Have a good day--at least it is warmer here today.

Good morning all, it's sunny but windy here after another very rainy night.

Tom's off to work shortly and John and Joe are somewhere on the M4 heading back home. Shopping to do this afternoon and no plans for this evening. I'll make some kind of pasta dish ready for when Tom comes home from work.

Di, that is a shame!

Ally, I'm hoping Joe's back in time for the game!

Have a good day all!

Missions accomplished :)
Bb dropped me off at the top of the High St and went to w/rose.

I had a good stomp all the way down, bought two nice sweatshirts in New Look sale. They came to £15 which I had in vouchers :)
Speaking of which, why are sweatshirts so hard to find?! They're what I like to wear, with jeans, when I'm not going anywhere.

Bb took the shopping home then came to collect me when I was ready :)

W/rose had reduced their choccies, so he got me four packs of Lindt animals for 15p each, and a bag of Green & black something or other :)
He also got a pack of four ginger mince pies for 10p which didn't sound too promising but are yummy! :)

That's a successful trip Di! Good luck Ally but I think Celtic will win today - tell them there's no gloating allowed! The wind is strengthening here as well. MrsC and sister have gone over to their dad's. G+T's and pizza tonight.

Hope you are all having a good day.

The fog has now gone and it's hot 8-) 8-) 8-)

But the large weeds are coming up nicely, roots and all. Have had to stop, back hurting. Will carry on in a couple of minutes.

Grumpy has finished the gravel in the car port and is now attacking a mimosa tree root, which has to come out. And won't

Pingo don't seem to discount anything :x :x

Afternoon all, my sinuses are acting up so I'm talking through by dose a bit. I've done some steam inhaling and will do more later. It was quite pleasant earlier, the temperature is 5 degrees up on yesterday, but it has been clouding over and is very dull now. We did get out for a walk though. Otherwise, just did a few houseworky bits and might finish off the ironing while Mr Osc watches (more) football.
