Good morning Monday (New Year's Day)

Postby Ally » 01 Jan 2018, 06:52

God morning. :)

Forecast look gorgeous so we're off for a coastal walk from la playa to Benalmadena port. 8-)

A nice 16km is a great way to start Operation Toblerone. :D

I'm going to make Minestrone soup, read and watch TV tonight.

Hope you all have a great day.

Morning :)
Up early as it's blood test day and they're coming to me, any time between 7 and 1! :?

We had a lovely evening with G, she is such good company.
She left around ten, and for the first time since I was about twelve I didn't make it to the new year...never mind :)

Today will depend how the weather is, if it's ok we'll get out, if not will probably get the tree etc down.

Hope you all had a good evening, and have a good day

Good morning all!

No major plans for today, apart from the fact that today is the only time John cooks a meal voluntarily in the year so he's doing a fry up. It'll be lunch rather than breakfast though as Tom doesn't finish work until noon and Joe should be back by then. Tom's going back to his flat then this afternoon.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Soup sounds good Ally! :)

Di, we tried but were asleep by midnight too  ;)

Morning cruiser :)

Morning Jan, have a good one!

No cooked brekkie here Jo, strictly back on points for me after a hopelessly overindulgent Christmas  :? ;)

Morning Saundra ;)

I took our decs down yesterday afternoon, and had a thorough clean round, all fresh for the NY  Will probably stroll out later, all the ice is long gone, just a bit damp out there, which is fine.

Happy New Year everyone :) xxx

Tom's already home from work, he said that they were fully staffed and the only customers that they were getting were taxi drivers wanting coffee (and most were free coffees after collecting stickers on the coffee card!)

Joe is also home, apparently he came home just before 2.

Some early risers on here!

Very grey and overcast here, also very quiet. Hardly anyone seems to be out and about.

Quiet day ahead, a bit of cleaning up is all that's on. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all - washing machine is going and dishwasher has just finished the last of last nights dishes. We had a lovely evening, and got to bed much later than I anticipated... by the time I did a bit of a clean up and got the first load into the dishwasher it was 2.30 when I went to bed.

My decorations will only come down next weekend on epiphany; just as Ally will be celebrating Christmas in Spain ;-)

No plans for today besides doing laundry and generally making sure I'm set for back to work tomorrow and then lazing on the sofa in front of the telly.
