Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 03 Jan 2018, 06:20

Good morning.

Operation toblerone has got off to a flying start this year...after a few weeks of very little exercise it hasn't taken me long to get back into the groove.

My trainers are on waiting for sun up to get out for a jog round the streets. :cute:

Back to pootle - in other words read.

My resident chef is cooking tonight...stir fry has been requested. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
It's foul here, really strong winds and rain coming and going.
Must be quite hard for people with walking/running resolutions here, to step outside into that lot!

Nothing on again here :)
Decorations are back in the loft, just the cards to do. Our presents are mostly for just us and family, so we use the pretty bits for gift tags.

Still haven't been to fat face, will see if there's a break in the weather. Trouble with our High st is that there's nothing under cover, it's very exposed as it leads straight down to the sea.

Hope you all escape the worst of the weather.

Good morning Di, Ally and all!

It's bright and sunny here but very windy! Hope that no one is badly affected by the storm.

Housework to do today and I'm crocheting myself a woolly hat so hopefully I can get on with that too!

Have a good day all!

Morning all!

Nice one Ally 8-) Pilates tomorrow for me, then back to zumba next week :? ;)

Di, no rain here but the winds overnight have been incredibly strong

Staying in and crocheting sounds like a good plan Jo 8-)

As mentioned we've had terrifically strong winds here overnight! Unfortunately our entire estate is due a rubbish collection, we were told either yesterday or today so all of the bins and bags were out ready, and it's carnage out tbere!

This is our first black bin collection since December the 11th! We have fortnightly black bin (general waste) alternating with green garden waste, and weekly recycling box collections here. This meant we were due Christmas Day, but were put back to the 27th. That's when the snow arrived so it was then put back to the 2nd or 3rd - and now tbis   Hope they send out some litter pickers to deal with it all, but won't hold my breath :x

Sorry, end of rant! :cute: ;)

Have a safe day everyone! xxxx

Morning all--been awake for hours with the noisy wind blowing things about.
Looked on the council website yesterday and our bin collection is today instead of Monday.
They collect so early at the moment that i (along with the neighbours) put it out last night.
Looked out about 4am and most bins were upside down in the road and the litter everywhere.
I was lucky as ours blew open but it did`nt topple over. (the weight of the wine bottles has kept it steady i reckon :P :P )
When i got up about 7 i went out to see if we had any damage and next doors rubbish is all over
our lawn. He has gone off to work and just left it.
Luckily the wind is now blowing a lot back to his garden :)
Have a good day.

Good morning all - but it's not a very good one here. The wind is hellishly strong - I had to battle my way to the local shop.
We've nothing planned for today, so we'll have a quiet day doing nothing much.

Hope you are all feeling fine.

Lissie that's really naughty of him
Ours aren't usually too bad as we put out the bags, not the bins. They have to go out the night before as we're the first collection, 7am.

Weather now much brighter but I've had a visual migraine, which leaves me feeling a bit weird, sort of spaced out and weak and not quite safe to drive.

Bb's paperwork has finally arrived but stuff has to be posted first, so he still can't go out to work till tomorrow!

Morning all. Took father in law to his eye appointment this morning at 9. The schools are still off so the traffic was ok.

Very strong winds here last night, they are abating a little now. Just as well as we have seen two trees that have been uprooted during the night.

Curry later. :D

Have a nice day everyone.

Morning everyone

No internet this morning, so although I tried, couldn't get anything :cute: :cute:

Was bright, not dull with varying shades of grey sky.

We're getting that wind and rain from Friday onwards, and being on top of a hill, we batten everything down

Been into Ourique, had a coffee and chat with Sonia, got paint, got the shopping.

Now back to sort out the chip pan and ironing that I should have done yesterday, but it was too nice to be inside.

Stay safe and warm over there, enjoy the rest of your day xx
