Dinner on Friday

Postby JanB » 05 Jan 2018, 18:35

is pork stew :D :D :D

Loads of (dried) beans, tomatoes, onions, carrots, chunks of pork leg, spuds and chorizo.

Cooked it yesterday, now warming up on the flat topped wood burner :D :D :D

With a little leftover sweetheart cabbage.

Think we'll be eating it for a few more days yet 8-)

Pork sausages on a bed of cabbage and root mash. Accompanied, in my case, by some sweet pickled dill cucumber spears (using them up post-Christmas!)

Chinese chicken spicy rice, all ingredients chucked in the Instant Pot and it just beeped when it was ready. Delicious!

You're doing well with your instant pot Jo :)

We had that Cher dinner - you know the one...pasties, chips and beans :)
Hadn't had it for ages :D

I love it Di! In the last month, maybe longer, I can only remember using the hob to make the bread sauce and gravy on Christmas Day...and the baked cheesecakes I've made in it are out of this world!
