Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 10 Jan 2018, 06:20

Good morning.

Showers forecast, dry at the moment so will nip out shortly for a quick run.

Going over to Miramar for a spot of retail therapy (it's the sales here  ) and on the way back will nip into Iceland for some salad cream and brown sauce.

Work 6 - 9.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

Still dark and sunshine/cloud and showers forecast. At least it's warmer ;)

Going into Ourique for food shopping, and to make a dental appointment. Will also do a few other bits and bobs.

Our sales aren't here until February.

If it stays dry, I have a mountain of washing to do

Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather xx

Morning all

Ally - please send some of that blue sky here; desperate for it now :D
Jan - hope the weather holds for you and you can get the washing out and dry. I got a tumble dryer a few weeks back and it's been a god send, but the air dried washing definitely smells fresher; even if just dried in the house on a clothes horse. Nothing wrong with the dryer but it's not quite the same is it. And I must be one of the few people that prefers a crisp dry towel vs a soft fully one from the dryer, but hey - it's saving lots of time and space so I'm happy :D :D :D (despite my moaning    )
Poll - good luck; cannot believe it's only one more week to go; have you got things as ready as can be? Who is more excited you or Amy?

A lovely usual / usual for me; feels like it's been a while I've had one of those. Went shopping to Tesco on the way home last night which means I only got home at 8pm; which even though it's just over an hour later than usual but given I start getting ready for bed at 9pm (sort out cats / kitchen / me etc) it doesn't leave much me/down time.

Have a lovely day all, enjoy whatever it is you're all up to. Vibes for anyone that needs them xxxx

Nearly there Poll. Very dark and misty here the ground looks absolutely sodden. Today I will mainly be staying in and preparing a bolognese for tonight.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :)
We have a lovely day, blue sky and sunshine :D

One week Poll, very exciting!
Ria I much prefer the rough, outside dried towels too, but yes am very glad to have a decent washer/dryer.

All discombobulated this morning.
Our radio alarm clock apparently has an automatic daylight saving time function.
And it decided last night was when the clocks went back
I woke up before the late alarm but it was starting to get light which confused me :D
Can't find a date function but have disabled the dst auto...
Have a good day all
