The daffs are through about 3" tall but can`t remember where we
planted the others. I have been looking but can`t find them
They'll be there somewhere, Lissie - unless the blackbirds have had them! Our blackbirds spent most of the summer grubbing up the bulbs we planted at the front as fast as we could re-plant them.
We don't seem to have had much luck with daffs in the back garden, possibly because it's clay soil and gets waterlogged - they may well have rotted. Experience seems to indicate we'd be better off planting them in pots.
Our snowdrop clump is now fully in flower, which has delighted Mrs O. They do have a week's "Snowdrop Festival" in Shaftesbury but that's not until February, I think.
We had our wren today bopping around our tubs on the patio - he seems to be becoming a regular visitor.
