Good Morning Friday

Postby JoM » 19 Jan 2018, 08:06

Good morning all, it's a clear frosty one here.

Off out with Billy in a minute, once the washing machine has finished. Joe's in college today and Tom's home at lunchtime, before going to work.

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, Cruiser, and everyone :)

We have the same thick frost here Jo, brrrrr!! I'll be out in it in a while, as I'm going shopping with D - the usual food shopping, but first she wants to go either to The Range or Hobbycraft for pink baby wool :) Mick's nephew and his fiancée are having a baby girl in June! As Mick is one of three boys, and his brothers have two boys each, we all thought the odds were on a boy ;) D is over the moon, and has got out her knitting patterns ;)

Have a good day all :) xx

Morning everyone

Gorgeous morning but with a rather chilly wind. if that would just drop.....

I have the ironing this morning, but we'll see how the back gets on, as I walk around. I over stretched the sciatic nerve the other day - too much bending down, weeding   and have been in stages of sheer agony or just blasted painful

Hope Poll can get home today, if she's not already there and baby George is settling down.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)
A lovely cold bright one today, frost on the cars.

Not such a good one for me, my back went yesterday as I tugged off my boot!
Painkillers, yoga exercises and constantly walking around have helped but still very ouchy.
Won't be going to art, sitting and bending over not a good idea.

Hope your days go well

Morning all and happy Friday!

Ouch Jan and Di - poor you; both take it easy today and rest up and ease those pains ((hugs))
Cruiser, enjoy your day and the visit this evening
Kaz, how lovely - finally a little girl in the family; she's going to be one spoilt little princess when she arrives
Jo, have a lovely day as well

A very frosty morning here as well, made myself a cuppa and sat in the car with it whilst waiting for the windscreen to clear; but what a gorgeous sunny morning. Jan the wind has died down a bit here, but it's also a very biting one. Fingers crossed the winds soon settle where you are

Sort of usual work day; meeting an ex colleague for lunch. He's having an interview with a company that is in the same building as us. Then maybe will head to Karl and Nadine's this evening. Thomas heads off on a school ski trip tomorrow - there's a whole group of children with various disabilities going - all learning disabilities I think, not physical - but still, it'll be a busy time for the teachers and carers that are going. Thomas is hugely excited

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to xx

Good morning all.

Sunny and frosty here. Ice on the pavements, so won't be going out walking yet.

Mrs A has just offered to accompany me, so we can hold each other up. So, off we go.

Have a nice day.

Oh Di :( I hope it soon eases xx

Kaz, how exciting! She'll be spoiled rotten no doubt :D
I'm itching to crochet a baby blanket but there aren't any babies in the family!

I've walked five miles with Billy, it was lovely as the mud was frozen solid. The pavements going around the corner to get to the woods are treacherous though.

Good morning all, just realised I didn't post yesterday  But it was busy though - we had the children after school, we went to the pub next next door to eat, then Miss Osc and I went off to the theatre, tickets she bought me for Christmas. It was The Red Shoes, a very modern take on the Hans Christian Andersen tale. It was brilliant, dark and funny, we both loved it. I am not normally that keen on straight plays but thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a nice mother/daughter outing too.

It's frosty here, Mr Osc tells me the golf course it closed, but it's bright at least. I'm off to the gym in a while and have a few bits and pieces to do this afternoon, then we are going dancing tonight.
